Budda Baker Missing From Cardinals OTAs
Arizona Cardinals safety Budda Baker missed the first day of organized team activities but shared images of himself working out on his Instagram account. After the Cardinals refused Baker's request for a contract extension that would have made him the highest-paid safety in the league, Baker demanded a trade in April. The Cardinals have also said they will not trade him. The five-time Pro Bowler made 111 combined tackles, two interceptions, seven pass defenses, and one forced fumble in 15 games last season and finished as the DB15 in RotoBaller IDP scoring. He was the 19th-best safety in terms of PFF grade.

Jacksonville Jaguars wide receiver Calvin Ridley looked good on the Jags' first day of organized team activities. Offensive coordinator Press Taylor said, "I've been really impressed with Calvin. I've watched every snap Calvin's played in the NFL, just like a lot of our guys have. So we're very confident in the player we're getting." The Jaguars tweeted a video of Ridley moving his feet quickly in an agility ladder drill with the comment, "Slow feet, don't eat." Ridley caught 31 passes for 281 yards and two touchdowns in five games with the Falcons in 2021, his last season of NFL action, but he was impacted by mental health issues that season. In 2020, which was his last full season, he caught 90 passes for 1,374 yards and nine touchdowns.

The 28-year-old do-it-all back is unlikely to report for OTAs, but he's expected to be at mandatory minicamp, and it's becoming increasingly likely that he'll stick around for at least one more year in LA before testing the open market as an unrestricted free agent. If Ekeler does remain with the Bolts in 2023, he should continue to be a high-end RB1 for fantasy managers, especially in PPR formats.

The 23-year-old averaged 19.0 yards per catch last year on 15 receptions for 285 yards and two touchdowns. The former first-rounder has had his issues with injuries, but Bateman has shown big-play potential when healthy. The Ravens have a few more capable receivers around him in 2023, but Bateman still figures to be quarterback Lamar Jackson's top target.

He played in only seven games in his final collegiate season due to a torn ACL in his knee. Williams continues to recover from the injury, and the Cardinals are targeting a July return. Cobbs heads to the next level after leading Utah State in 2022 in catches (76) and receiving yards (923) while tying for the team lead in touchdowns with five. In four years at Maryland before joining Utah State, he had 59 catches for 858 yards and two touchdowns.

In 13 starts for the Cincinnati Bengals in 2022, Hurst had 52 catches for 414 yards and two touchdowns. He's never had more than 56 catches, 571 yards or six TDs in a single season, though, so he'll remain more of a low-end TE2 in fantasy.

Van Roten has the ability to play center, left guard and right guard, so he'll give the Raiders some flexibility and depth along their offensive line this year. In his eight NFL campaigns, the 33-year-old offensive lineman has played in 93 games (54 starts).

Christensen said Lance's biggest breakthrough came when he stood behind Chiefs QB Patrick Mahomes and watched him throw. The former No. 3 overall pick in 2021, Lance has completed just 54.9% of his passes in his first two NFL seasons over four starts. Brock Purdy (elbow) is expected to be the team's starter in 2023 if he's healthy, but he's currently recovering, so Lance and Sam Darnold will see reps in spring practices. Injuries have played a big role in Lance's delivery, but he's fully healthy now and is looking to make things interesting in training camp this summer.

The 37-year-old journeyman entered the NFC Championship game for the San Francisco 49ers against the Philadelphia Eagles when Brock Purdy injured his elbow, but Johnson was also forced to leave early with a concussion. In 10 NFL seasons, Johnson has completed 58 percent of his pass attempts for 2,280 yards, 13 touchdowns and 16 interceptions in 39 games (nine starts). He figures to be the third-stringer in Baltimore behind Lamar Jackson and Tyler Huntley.

The 20-year-old rushed for 1,399 yards and 17 touchdowns with TCU last season. The expectation is that Miller is going to be able to carve out a legitimate role alongside Alvin Kamara. It remains to be seen how the Saints decide to split up playing time. Regardless, Miller is expected to be 100 percent healthy by the time the preseason rolls around.

They've also parted ways Adams' friend Derek Carr in exchange for quarterback Jimmy Garoppolo. The six-time Pro Bowl wideout does not seem happy with the Raiders right now. Despite that, it's unlikely that the Raiders attempt to move Adams this offseason. He has a dead cap hit of $31.4 million if traded this year and $23.6 million if traded in 2024. The Raiders might be able to fetch a first-round pick for Adams, but it's not worth the cap hit. It's likely that the Raiders continue to ride with Adams, but his fantasy value might drop with Garoppolo under center.

It's great to see the 32-year-old getting cleared for offseason workouts. Johnson remains an elite linemen and a key part to the Eagles rushing attack.

Indianapolis Colts wide receiver Michael Pittman Jr. is in a contract year in 2023, and if a deal isn't reached, he'll become an unrestricted free agent next March. Pittman has played with quarterbacks Philip Rivers, Carson Wentz, Matt Ryan, Sam Ehlinger and Nick Foles, and to his credit, he's never complained and has consistently been productive. The 25-year-old pass-catcher will be the top target for whoever is under center this year -- either Gardner Minshew or first-round rookie Anthony Richardson. Pittman had 60 more targets than any of his teammates in 2021 and 50 more in 2022, so he's a pretty safe target for consistent looks in Indy's new-look offense.

Forbes should be a starter for Washington in his rookie season in 2023, and he set the collegiate record by returning six of his 14 interceptions back for touchdowns, so he's likely to eventually have appeal as a defensive back in IDP fantasy leagues. But it will be interesting if Forbes stays in the slot, because his 6-foot-1, 173-pound frame doesn't exactly profile well on the inside.
