Titans rookie quarterback Will Levis, coming off a tough practice Wednesday, said he's not going to beat himself up as he continues to navigate the transition to the NFL.

Tennessee Titans wide receiver Treylon Burks continues to be quarterback Ryan Tannehill's favorite target at organized team activities. Titans beat writer Jim Wyatt also writes that he hasn't seen Burks drop a ball intended for him yet in the open portions of OTAs. The 23-year-old former first-rounder dealt with conditioning issues last offseason and entered his first regular season in the NFL behind the eight ball in terms of development. The Titans let Robert Woods walk in the offseason and didn't do much to bolster the position, so Burks figures to play a huge role in the team's passing attack in his second year. Even in a run-first offense, fantasy managers should expect a massive increase in targets for Burks, if he can stay healthy.

Derrick Henry Has Been Present For OTAs

Tennessee Titans running back Derrick Henry, who has missed organized team activities in the past, has been present for all five of the team's OTAs so far this offseason, and his workload has increased along the way. Henry is working with a new position coach in 2023 after the team hired Justin Outten as their run-game coordinator/RBs coach with former RBs coach Tony Dews now coaching tight ends. The 29-year-old King Henry got off to a slow start in 2022, but he remained the focal point of Tennessee's run-first offense and finished with 1,538 rushing yards and 13 TDs on a league-high 349 carries in 16 regular season starts. All of the mileage on his legs is adding up, but he should remain heavily involved in the Titans offense yet again in 2023. At worst, Henry is a midrange RB1 for fantasy managers.

Derrick Henry Not Declining Just Yet

Tennessee Titans running back Derrick Henry didn't start very strong last year and didn't break 100 rushing yards in a game until Week 4. However, from Weeks 4 through 9, he had 100-plus rushing yards in each game. Henry finished second in rushing yards gained after contact (1,252 of his 1,538), logged 11 gains of 10-plus yards over expected and had 57 runs of 15-plus mph. He will turn 30 years old before the end of the 2023 season and has slipped slightly in the overall running back rankings, but King Henry can still produce big plays on the ground with the best of them. Tennessee will still likely lean heavily on Henry this year, but he's become more of a midrange RB1 than a high-end one heading into the 2023 campaign.

Titans Satisfied With WR Group?

In a recent interview, newly appointed Titans offensive coordinator Tim Kelly responded in the affirmative when asked if the team currently had enough to work with at the wide receiver position, according to Terry McCormick of TitanInsider.com. Many have regarded the team’s wide receiving corps as a weakness, but while not a guarantee that the […]

Tennessee Titans wide receiver Chris Moore, who is coming off the best season of his NFL career, will look to be versatile in order to help his new team in 2023. "I can do whatever they need me to do," Moore said. "First, I am a football player, and then I'm a receiver. Whatever they want me to do, I'm going to do it." The former fourth-rounder of the Ravens in 2016, Moore spent the last two years with the Texans and caught 48 passes for 548 yards and two TDs in 16 games (seven starts) in 2022. In his six NFL seasons, he's caught 116 passes for 1,286 yards and eight scores, and he also has experience as a kick returner. The 29-year-old will likely be behind Treylon Burks, Kyle Phillips and Nick Westbrook-Ikhine in the receiving pecking order, though, so he'll be off the fantasy radar to begin the year.

Tyjae Spears Signs Rookie Contract

Tennessee Titans running back Tyjae Spears has signed his rookie contract with the organization. That means, the 22-year-old is locked in a four-year deal with the team after being taken in the third round of this year's NFL Draft. The expectation is that Spears is going to compete for the third-down spot on the roster. Veteran back Derrick Henry is going to be the workhorse and get a majority of the carries. However, Hassan Haskins and Spears should be able to get involved as well. There might not be much fantasy value for Haskins right away, but he's expected to be the back of the future in Tennessee.

Treylon Burks Says He's In Better Shape

Tennessee Titans wide receiver Treylon Burks struggled with conditioning and had trouble breathing in last summer's offseason workouts, but the second-year man said "I feel great. I'm running fast, not having any problems with breathing. Really just having fun, man. I am in a good place, state of mind, and I am just thankful." The Arkansas product caught 33 passes for 444 yards and one touchdown last season but looks to take a big step forward as the team's No. 1 wide receiver in 2023. Burks was bitten by the injury bug in his rookie campaign, missing six games due to turf toe and a concussion. With limited target competition, Burks should see a high target share, but the overall ceiling of the Titans' passing offense will likely be low under Ryan Tannehill and potentially Will Levis.

Tyjae Spears Says He's Fully Healthy

Tennessee Titans running back Tyjae Spears had plenty of question marks during the pre-draft process about his knee injuries, but he has been a full participant in rookie mini-camp and said "I was out there. I did everything. So, I feel perfectly fine. Nothing wrong with me. I'm healthy." The Tulane product has no ACL in one of his knees and is reportedly dealing with arthritis. However, the 21-year-old still became a third-round pick and is expected to contribute to the Titans' offense early in his career. The 29-year-old Derrick Henry may need a change of pace back to ease some of his workload at this point in his career, so Spears could carve out a role as a third-down back and breather back sharing the backfield with the former 2,000-yard rusher. Spears could see a shortened career due to his knee troubles, but his immediate production should not be a concern.

Malik Willis Could Be Cut This Offseason

Tennessee Titans quarterback Malik Willis could be cut this offseason after the team added quarterback Will Levis in the second round of the 2023 NFL draft. With veteran Ryan Tannehill firmly established as the QB1 for the Titans and Levis expected to serve as the team's backup, Willis could be looking for a new team this summer. Willis did not do much in his limited playing time in 2022, completing 50.8% of his passes for 276 yards, zero touchdowns, and three interceptions across eight games.

Titans Could Still Add To Wide Reciever Room

The Tennessee Titans entered the 2023 NFL Draft with a weak group of wide receivers but did not select a wideout until the seventh round -- UT-Martin's Colton Dowell. First-year general manager Ran Carthon said the team didn't feel the need to reach on a wide receiver and there are other ways to add to the position. Tennessee re-signed Nick Westbrook-Ikhine and brought in former Houston Texans wideout Chris Moore, but the group projects to be one of the worst wide receiver rooms in the NFL. The starting wideouts for Week 1 look to be Treylon Burks, Westbrook-Ikhine, and one of Chris Moore or Kyle Philips. However, the team may be interested in a free agent veteran like Kenny Golladay, Jarvis Landry, Sammy Watkins, or Demarcus Robinson. Nonetheless, Burks should see a massive target share in 2023.
