DJ Fluker Working Out For Eagles Wednesday
Free-agent offensive lineman DJ Fluker, who hasn't played in an NFL game since the 2020 season, is working out for the Philadelphia Eagles on Wednesday, according to a source. Fluker was originally the 11th overall pick of the 2013 NFL draft out of the University of Alabama by the Los Angeles Chargers, but he never really lived up to his draft status. The 32-year-old played the first four years of his career with the Bolts and has bounced around since with the New York Giants, Seattle Seahawks and Baltimore Ravens. He's played in 108 games (96 starts) in his eight NFL seasons and would strictly serve as offensive-line depth in Philadelphia in 2023 if he signs with the team and earns a roster spot this summer in training camp.

Dallas Goedert Wants To Improve His Route-Running

Already one of the best tight ends in the NFL, Philadelphia Eagles tight end Dallas Goedert is looking to improve his route-running and releases this offseason and has spent more time with the team's wide receivers. The 28-year-old was on his way to a career season in 2022 before suffering a shoulder injury that sidelined him for five games in the middle of the year. In the 12 regular season games he did play in, Goedert had 55 catches for 702 yards and three touchdowns. He caught six of seven targets for 60 yards in the Super Bowl. Goedert likely would have hit 1,000 yards receiving and made his first career Pro Bowl if he had stayed healthy. He is a top-five fantasy tight end in one of the best offenses in football, and if he gets even more separation on his routes in 2023, he'll be even that much more dangerous.

Lane Johnson Cleared For Football Activities
Philadelphia Eagles offensive tackle Lane Johnson (core) has been cleared to resume football activities. The four-time Pro Bowler played through a core muscle injury last postseason. He missed the final two games of the regular season because of the issue, but played through the pain in the playoffs. After that, Johnson underwent surgery in February on his torn adductor. It's great to see the 32-year-old getting cleared for offseason workouts. Johnson remains an elite linemen and a key part to the Eagles rushing attack.

A.J. Brown Committed To Improving

Philadelphia Eagles wide receiver A.J. Brown is focused this offseason on getting better. "There's a lot I can Improve on," commented Brown during an interview with the Philadelphia Inquirer. "I want to be a complete receiver. But I'm just trying to be a well-rounded receiver and do it all. The sky is the limit." Brown finished last season with 88 catches for 1,496 yards, both career highs. He also had 11 touchdowns. The 25-year-old appears to have a solid working relationship with quarterback Jalen Hurts, so the former Titan has a chance of finishing the 2023-24 campaign as the league's top fantasy wideout, or at least one of them.

Dan Arnold Agrees To One-Year Deal With Eagles

Former Jacksonville Jaguars tight end Dan Arnold agreed to an undisclosed one-year deal with the Philadelphia Eagles on Thursday, according to a source. The former undrafted free agent out of Wisconsin-Platteville will give the Eagles more tight end depth behind Dallas Goedert, but the Eagles also have Jack Stoll, Tyree Jackson, Dalton Keene and Grant Calcaterra at the position. Arnold had just nine catches on 13 targets for 135 yards and no touchdowns in 17 games (zero starts) for the Jaguars last year. He was more productive in 2021 with 35 receptions and 408 receiving yards with the Jags and Carolina Panthers, but the 28-year-old hasn't found the end zone since 2020. Arnold would only become somewhat interesting in fantasy if Goedert misses any time, and even then, he wouldn't be guaranteed a huge pass-catching role.
