  • Jonnu Smith Scores Twice In Win

Tennessee Titans tight end Jonnu Smith caught four of five targets, racking up 84 receiving yards and two touchdowns during Sunday's 33-30 win against the Jaguars. The 25-year-old is off to a great start to his 2020 season, having already matched his career high in touchdown receptions through just two outings. Smith's involvement in the passing offense has increased immensely, as he is on pace for over 95 targets this year. Heading into Week 3, Smith prepares to face a Vikings Defense that surrendered five catches and 111 yards to Indianapolis' Mo Alie-Cox on Sunday. He's looking like a TE1 going forward.

  • Ryan Tannehill Throws Four Touchdowns In Win

Tennesse Titans quarterback Ryan Tannehill completed 18 of 24 passes for 239 yards with four touchdowns and no interceptions, as the Titans beat the Jaguars 33-30. The Titans have now come up big in the final minute two weeks in a row and are in first place in the AFC South. The Titans will face a young Vikings secondary in week three.

  • Derrick Henry Held In Check Against Jaguars

Tennessee Titans running back Derrick Henry ran for 84 yards on 25 rush attempts during Sunday's 33-30 win against the Jaguars. He was also targeted twice in the passing game but recorded zero receptions. Combining Sunday's final statistics with Henry's Week 1 performance (3.7 YPC), the star running back is off to an inefficient start to 2020, though he is still the beneficiary of a massive volume share of carries. The 26-year-old has already garnered 59 offensive touches through Tennessee's first two outings, as the Titans now prepare for a Week 3 matchup against the 0-2 Vikings.

  • Titans Defense Won't Have Vic Beasley

The Tennessee Titans Defense won't have linebacker Vic Beasley (knee) in Week 2 against the Jacksonville. Beasley had been practicing, so it's likely this is just a precaution in what should be a relatively easy matchup for the Titans. Against a better team, Beasley's absence could be an issue for the Titans, but this shouldn't be a game changer in this contest. Consider the Titans defense one of the top defensive options in fantasy this week.

  • Ryan Tannehill Has Favorable Matchup

Tennessee Titans quarterback Ryan Tannehill gets a favorable matchup against the Jaguars in Week 2. Tannehill looked good in his opening game of 2020, completing 29 of 43 passes for 249 yards and two touchdowns in a win over the Denver Broncos. Now he'll square off with a Jacksonville defense that surrendered 363 passing yards to Philip Rivers. Tannehill is certainly skilled enough to dissect the Jaguars' defense, though he may take a backseat to Derrick Henry in this one. The veteran could be a good streaming option this week, but his upside is capped because Tennessee may not need to rely on his arm to win this week.

  • Derrick Henry Has A Good Matchup Against Jaguars Defense

Tennessee Titans star running back Derrick Henry will face a Jaguars Defense against which he accumulated 203 rushing yards and three rushing scores in two matchups last season. That Jaguars have allowed an average of 31.4 fantasy points per game to opposing running backs over the past eight games. This forecast seems to bode quite well for Henry who should once again see a large volume of carries. He's undoubtedly a high-end RB1 in all formats heading into week two.

  • Jonnu Smith Should See Targets Increase With Absence Of A.J. Brown

Tennessee Titans tight end Jonnu Smith gets a plus matchup this week against a Jaguars Defense that allowed 363 yards through the air in week one. A.J. Brown (knee) is set to miss multiple weeks so the Titans will look upon Smith and Corey Davis more frequently. Smith hauled in four of seven targets for 36 yards and a touchdown during week one's 16-14 win against Denver. He's likely to see an uptick in targets and should be viewed as a high-end TE2 in week two against Jacksonville.

  • Corey Davis Could See Targets Increase With A.J. Brown Out

Tennessee Titans wide receiver Corey Davis (hamstring) who was listed as limited on Thursday, practiced full on Friday. He looks ready to go Sunday and should be in line for more targets with fellow receiver A.J. Brown (knee) ruled out. Davis will look to build upon the momentum from week one in which he hauled in seven of eight targets for 101 yards. The receiver is entering his fourth NFL season having yet to emerge as a go-to target after being drafted with the fifth overall pick of the 2017 draft. He should produce numbers worthy of a flex start in all league formats against the Jaguars Defense who gave up 363 yards through the air in week one. He could see double digit targets from Ryan Tannehill.

  • A.J. Brown Out For Week 2

Tennessee Titans head coach Mike Vrabel said that wide receiver A.J. Brown (knee) will not play in Week 2 against the Jaguars. Brown is dealing with a bone bruise in his knee and is listed as week-to-week. Make sure you remove the second-year receiver from your starting lineups this weekend. Corey Davis, who surprisingly caught seven of eight targets for 101 yards in the Week 1 win over the Broncos, should see a healthy amount of targets once again with Brown out. Consider him in the picture as a WR3/flex. Adam Humphries and Kalif Raymond should comprise three-wide sets on Sunday, with Humphries being a sleeper in DFS. Tight end Jonnu Smith has TE1 upside with Brown out.

  • Corey Davis A Limited Participant In Thursday's Practice

Tennessee Titans wide receiver Corey Davis (hamstring) was a limited participant in Thursday's practice, Terry McCormick of TitanInsider.com reports. Davis was withheld from Wednesday's session, the Titans' first practice since he led the team with seven receptions for 101 yards in Monday's 16-14 win over the Broncos. If Davis is able to advance to full work in Friday's practice, fantasy managers would likely feel better about his condition heading into the Titans' Week 2 game against Jacksonville. Fellow wide receiver A.J. Brown(bone bruise) picked up an injury that could force him to miss time -- it would likely increase Davis's target share in the Tennessee passing attack if Brown sits.

  • A.J. Brown Dealing With Bone Bruise In Knee

Tennesee Titans wide receiver A.J. Brown is dealing with a bone bruise in his knee that is "jeopardizing (Brown's) availability for Sunday's game against the Jaguars and possibly beyond," according to Adam Schefter of ESPN. Per Schefter, Brown, who didn't practice Thursday, is likely to be week-to-week with the issue. If the young receiver is indeed forced to miss time, added looks in the Titans' passing game would be available for the likes of Corey Davis and Adam Humphries and Jonnu Smith. Owners of Brown should monitor this situation closely.

  • A.J. Brown Likely Week-To-Week With Knee Injury

Tennessee Titans wide receiver A.J. Brown (knee) missed practice on Thursday with a bone bruise in his knee that will likely make him week-to-week, according to a source. Obviously, Brown's availability for Week 2 against the Jaguars is seriously in question. The team's No. 1 wideout had a quiet game in the Week 1 win over the Broncos, too, catching five passes for 39 scoreless yards. Browns' Friday participation will tell us a lot, but as of right now, you need to be making other plans for the WR1. If he's out this weekend, Corey Davis, who had seven catches for 101 yards in the season opener, would have a much higher ceiling. Tight end Jonnu Smith would also have TE1 upside, while Adam Humphries could be a sneaky flex play in PPR formats.

  • Titans Staying Faithful To Stephen Gostkowski

Tennessee Titans head coach Mike Vrabel said on Tuesday that he expects kicker Stephen Gostkowski to be better than he was in the 16-14 Monday night win over the Broncos, and the team still believes in him after he missed three field goals and an extra point in Week 1. Gostkowski's reputation as one of the most accurate kickers in NFL history (86.8 percent success rate even after Monday's debacle) has bought him a longer leash. It helps that he made his fourth field-goal attempt -- the game-winner -- to seal the game in the fourth quarter. Even in a good matchup against Jacksonville in Week 2, fantasy owners shouldn't have as much faith in Gostkowski as Vrabel does. Look elsewhere.

  • Derrick Henry Breaks Century Mark In Yards

Tennessee Titans star running back Derrick Henry ran for 116 yards on 31 carries while hauling in all three of his targets for 15 yards during Monday's 16-14 win against the Broncos. The 2019 NFL rushing champion did not have his most efficient effort on the ground Monday night, grinding his way to 3.7 yards per carry on a massive workload. His pass-catching upside was higher than usual in the opener, as Henry's three receptions tied his season high from 18 regular-season and playoff games during 2019. Coming up in Week 2, Henry will face a Jaguars Defense against which he accumulated 203 rushing yards and three rushing scores in two matchups last season. He should be viewed as an easy RB1 in all league formats going into week 2.

  • A.J. Brown Has Quiet Night Against Broncos

Tennessee Titans wide receiver A.J. Brown hauled in five of eight targets for 39 receiving yards during Monday's 16-14 win against the Broncos. Monday night's performance was a massive drop off from Brown's average fantasy output over the latter stages of 2019, as he averaged 100 receiving yards per game with five total touchdowns Weeks 12 through 17 of last year. Against Denver, it was instead Corey Davis who enjoyed the majority of the wide receiver production with 101 yards on seven catches, while Adam Humphries pitched in with six catches and 47 yards of his own. Chalk up this mediocre performance to a matchup against a Vic Fangio defense that ranked top-12 against the pass last year. A Week 2 matchup against the Jaguars' inexperienced secondary may be just what the doctor ordered in regards to Brown's fantasy outlook. He's currently a fringe WR1/WR2 and should bounce back nicely against a weak Jacksonville pass defense in week 2.

  • Corey Davis Tallies 101 Yards Receiving On Eight Targets

Tennessee Titans receiver Corey Davis caught seven of eight targets for 101 receiving yards during Monday's 16-14 win against the Broncos. Davis is attempting to achieve the unusual fourth-year breakout season in 2020, and given that he had top-five overall talent coming out of Western Michigan in 2017, it may be his season to breakout in full. Davis attracted a middling target share last year in route to a 601-yard, two-touchdown season. In collecting eight targets Week 1 Davis surpassed all of his single-game totals from 2019, while also eclipsing 100 receiving yards for the first time since Nov. 11th, 2018. He now readies for a week 2 matchup against division rival Jacksonville, an opponent against which he only generated five catches and 73 yards across two appearances last year. He's likely to be a popular waiver wire add this week in all league formats with his usage and talent on full display in Monday night's performance. He's a sneaky flex play and could push himself into WR3 status if the target share continues for Davis.

  • Jonnu Smith Finds End Zone In Win

Tennessee Titans tight end Jonnu Smith hauled in four of seven targets for 36 yards and a touchdown during Monday's 16-14 win against Denver. Entering his fourth NFL season out of Florida International, Smith kicks off 2020 as the Titans TE1. His Week 1 usage indicates a potential season-long increase in targets as he was just one target behind Corey Davis and A.J Brown for a team-high. Next up for Smith is a Week 2 matchup against a Jaguars Defense that allowed five catches and 69 yards to opposing tight ends in its season opener. He's a low-end TE1 in most league formats and should remain a key piece in the Titans passing attack going forward.

  • Adam Humphries Plays Pivotal Role For Titans Pass Attack

Tennessee Titans slot receiver Adam Humphries caught six of seven targets for 47 receiving yards during Monday's 16-14 win against the Broncos. The former Clemson stand-out enjoyed a breakout season by recording 76 catches, 816 yards, and five touchdowns for the Buccaneers in 2018, but his debut campaign as a Titan last year did not go as smoothly. An ankle injury cut Humphries' season short, but his totals of 37 catches and 374 receiving yards were disappointing. Now healthy and reinvigorated in the Ryan Tannehill-led passing attack, Humphries ranked third on the team in targets Monday while placing second in receiving. Week 2 presents a plus matchup against a Jacksonville defense that was torched for 363 passing yards in its 2020 debut. He's worthy of a speculative add in PPR leagues and could be in line for a uptick in targets if he's healthy.

  • Jeremy McNichols Promoted From Practice Squad

With Darrynton Evans out, the Tennessee Titans have promoted running back Jeremy McNichols from their practice squad. He'll be available on Monday night against the Broncos, but McNichols shouldn't be on anyone's fantasy radar. This is Derrick Henry's backfield, and while Evans is a candidate to spell him at times, the combination of McNichols and Sanorise Perry should barely see the football field.

  • Darrynton Evans Ruled Out For Monday Night

Tennessee Titans rookie running back Darrynton Evans has been ruled out for Monday's game against the Broncos. Evans has been dealing with a hamstring injury and the slated backup to Derrick Henry will now get his next chance to play against the Jaguars in Week 2. Evans rushed for over 1,100 yards in two of his three seasons at Appalachian State, and could take on a decent role as the RB2 on the team. He's worth stashing right now, as he could provide some value later in the season as he adjusts to playing in the NFL.

  • Corey Davis Questionable For Monday Night

Tennessee Titans wide receiver Corey Davis is questionable heading into Monday night's matchup against the Denver Broncos. The wideout has been nursing a hamstring injury, but has still fully practiced in the last two days. This provides hope that Davis can play on Monday. He is the WR2 on the Titans and is looking to make up for a 2019 season in which he regressed. Nevertheless, the Broncos have a tougher pass defense, so it may be wise to consider him as only a flex if he ends up playing.

Tennessee Titans first-round pick Isaiah Wilson was arrested Friday night for DUI, the Davidson County Sheriff's Office confirmed. Tennessee selected Wilson with the 29th pick in the draft to solidify their future at right tackle. Wilson started training camp on the COVID-19 reserve list and struggled with conditioning once he was able to take part in practice. He was once again placed on the COVID-19 reserve list last week.

  • A.J. Brown Looking To Build On Strong Rookie Year

Tennessee Titans wide receiver A.J. Brown will face a Denver Broncos secondary that lost some talent over the offseason, which could open the door for a strong performance for Brown. While the Titans are one of the most run-heavy teams in the NFL, Brown was still able to accumulate nine touchdowns last season (3rd most in NFL amongst WRs), in large part because of the play-action passing attack. While his target share may be lower than most WR1s on other teams, he's still a good bet to find the end-zone and rack up solid yardage. He's a low-end WR1/WR2 and a solid flex play in the majority of league formats heading into week 1.

  • Derrick Henry A Lock RB1 Heading Into Season Opener

Tennessee Titans running back Derrick Henry will face a Denver Broncos Defense that ranked 12th in rushing yards allowed per game over the past four contests. In that same span, Henry has averaged 164.2 rushing yards per game (best in NFL among RBs). There has been some preseason talk about Henry getting more involved as a receiver in 2020 which would significantly improve his fantasy appeal. The departure of Dion Lewis could mean that Henry remains on the field for all three downs more than in past seasons. He's already one of the top backs in the NFL, and is a lock RB1 heading into his prime-time conference meeting in all formats.

  • Vic Beasley Returns To Practice

Tennessee Titans linebacker Vic Beasley returned to practice on Wednesday after he was activated to the 53-man roster on Saturday from the Non-Football Injury list. Beasley missed 10 unexcused days of training camp and also failed his initial physical with the team. The Titans Defense was already on the radar as a potential fantasy streamer, and the recent addition of Pro Bowl defensive end Jadeveon Clowney makes them a bit more attractive. Clowney will be moved around the defense to help create mismatches, which could make Beasley more productive after he recorded eight sacks in his final season with Atlanta.
