  • Miles Sanders A Decent Starting Option In Week 3

Philadelphia Eagles running back Miles Sanders makes for a decent starting option in Week 3 lineups. The Eagles will take on the division-rival Dallas Cowboys in Week 3's Monday Night Football game, where Sanders will be a solid RB2. He's run the ball 28 times for 129 yards and added five catches for 43 more yards through this season's first two games. He's been operating as the clear lead back, but rookie Kenneth Gainwell is seeing some touches as well. The Eagles offense struggled in general in Week 2, but that shouldn't be as much of an issue against a softer Cowboys defense. Sanders can confidently be started as a higher-end RB2.

  • Miles Sanders Practices In Full On Friday

Philadelphia Eagles running back Miles Sanders (ankle) practiced fully on Thursday and Friday, virtually guaranteeing he will be available for the Week 2 showdown against the 49ers. Undoubtedly, this is fantastic news for fantasy managers, primarily after the former Penn State Nittany Lion started his year off on the right foot, compiling 74 yards off 15 carries while also pulling in four of his five targets for 39 yards in Week 1. While Sanders' production patterns weren't consistent during the 2020 campaign, it seems as if he will have a more stable role moving forward, at least that's how it appears based on his workload during the opener. Nonetheless, the 24-year-old should remain starting in all formats, although he has a way to go before fantasy managers can trust him moving ahead.

  • Miles Sanders Limited With Ankle Injury On Wednesday

Philadelphia Eagles running back Miles Sanders (ankle) was limited in Wednesday's practice session as his team gears up to face the San Francisco 49ers at home in Week 2. While it is too early in the week to sound the alarms, Sanders' participation in practice on Thursday and especially Friday will be a good indication as to how serious his ankle issue is. If for some reason Sanders is unable to go, Kenny Gainwell would be an interesting name in fantasy leagues. Gainwell's NFL career got off to a fast start in Week 1 with the rookie scoring a touchdown and compiling 43 all-purpose yards in a win over the Atlanta Falcons.

  • Miles Sanders Has A Tougher Challenge In Week 2

Philadelphia Eagles running back Miles Sanders was solid in Week 1, but he will face a tougher defense and possibly a less favorable game script in Week 2. In Week 1, Sanders saw 19 touches, gaining 74 yards on 15 rushes and catching four passes for 39 yards through the air. While there were some concerns about just how often Sanders would be on the field, he clearly operated as the lead back and should see enough touches to put up consistent RB2 numbers.

  • Miles Sanders Has A Workmanlike Week 1

Philadelphia Eagles running back Miles Sanders did everything expected of him in a Week 1 win over the Atlanta Falcons. Sanders ran the ball 15 times, gaining 74 yards. He added four catches on five targets for 39 more yards through the air. Sanders led the backfield in touches, but rookie Kenneth Gainwell ran the ball nine times, made two catches, and scored a touchdown. Quarterback Jalen Hurts also kept the ball and ran seven times himself. Sanders is an excellent running back, but if this kind of backfield split continues, he will have trouble returning more than RB2 value since his chances will be limited, especially in a game with a different script.
