  • Jets Defense An Excellent Week 12 Option

The New York Jets defense is an excellent fantasy option in Week 12 against the Chicago Bears. With starting quarterback Justin Fields (shoulder) shaping up as a game-time decision for Week 12, Trevor Siemian could be forced to start, making the Jets defense even more appealing. Regardless of who starts though, the Jets defense has been outstanding this season, recording 32 sacks and 11 interceptions all while ranking fourth in the league in pressure rate. Meanwhile, the Bears have allowed the most sacks in the league. The Jets have seven top-12 fantasy weeks in a row on defense, and should make it eight straight after Sunday's game.

  • Greg Zuerlein A Risky Option In Week 12

New York Jets kicker Greg Zuerlein is a risky option in Week 12 against the Chicago Bears. Zuerlein has been good this year, but with the struggles of the Jets offense, he just hasn't had as many kicking opportunities to make him a consistent scoring kicker. He's had five top-13 kicking weeks, but also four outside of the top-20. With a new quarterback under center, Mike White, the Jets offense is a little tough to predict this week, making Zuerlein not a great fantasy choice.

  • Tyler Conklin Hard To Trust In Week 12

New York Jets tight end Tyler Conklin is hard to trust in fantasy lineups in Week 12. Conklin has only seen two red zone targets since Week 2, and while other tight ends may not see quite as many total targets as Conklin, they are almost all more likely to see more red zone targets, and touchdown chasing is very much a thing with fantasy tight ends this season. The Jets opponent for Week 12, the Chicago Bears, have also been excellent at defending opposing tight ends this season, leaving Conklin as a low-end TE2 with a low floor and not much of a ceiling.

  • Elijah Moore Could Improve In Week 12

New York Jets wide receiver Elijah Moore could have his best week in a while in a Week 12 game against the Chicago Bears. Moore hasn't gained more than 17 yards since Week 4 and hasn't been better than the overall WR45 yet this season. But with a new signal caller, Mike White, taking over under center, the Jets offense should get more pass-based and Moore should benefit from that. He's not a fantasy starting option until he proves that he can do something, but he's someone to keep an eye on in case he finds what he had at the end of last season.

  • Garrett Wilson Has Nice Upside In Week 12

New York Jets rookie wide receiver Garrett Wilson has solid upside and a good floor in a Week 12 matchup against the Chicago Bears. Wilson had a rough Week 11 game, but so did everyone on the Jets offense, as they only gained 103 yards as a team. In Week 12, Mike White will start at quarterback, and Wilson should see plenty of targets, as he's had a 24% target share since Week 8. He's a WR2 with upside this week.

  • James Robinson Set For A Better Game In Week 12

New York Jets running back James Robinson is set to have a better game in Week 12 against the Chicago Bears. Robinson ended up with just 10 total yards in Week 11, but the entire Jets offense only gained 103 yards in that game. Now with Mike White starting under center and the Bears offense struggling to stop any running plays, Robinson and Michael Carter could both put up RB3 numbers and are both at least solid FLEX plays.

  • Michael Carter Should Bounce Back In Week 12

New York Jets running back Michael Carter should bounce back from a rough Week 11 performance in a Week 12 game against the Chicago Bears. Carter ended up with just two fantasy points last week, but he was playing on a Zach Wilson-led offense that totaled 103 yards and just three points. With Mike White getting the start under center against a Bears defense that struggles to stop the running game, Carter could easily put up solid RB2 numbers on Sunday.

  • Jets To Get Corey Davis Back In Week 12

New York Jets head coach Robert Saleh said that wide receiver Corey Davis (knee) will be back in Week 12 against the Chicago Bears. Saleh also said it's "big" for the offense, as Davis brings an intangible to the offense that goes beyond his skills -- his leadership, the way he lines up and the way he gets everyone settled. The team values Davis greatly, and he will start in the Z receiver spot, replacing Denzel Mims. However, Saleh anticipates Mims being active on Sunday. The Jets offense needs all the help they can get after benching quarterback Zach Wilson this week in favor of Mike White. Davis hasn't played since Week 7 and will now be taking passes from a new QB while also battling for targets with Garrett Wilson and Elijah Moore in a low-volume passing attack. You should be able to find more reliable flex options.

  • Zach Wilson Has A Case Of The Yips

New York Jets quarterback Zach Wilson, who was officially benched by head coach Robert Saleh for Week 12 against the Chicago Bears, is reportedly dealing with a case of the yips. It's an issue that isn't new, as sources around the team noticed that Wilson was off earlier this spring while struggling to make the easy throws while his mechanics were out of whack. A knee injury in training camp didn't help Wilson's issues at all, and he clearly struggled in his seven starts before getting benched this week. The Jets are adamant that Wilson is still their franchise signal-caller, but fantasy managers that have him in dynasty/keeper leagues can't be feeling great right now. This Sunday, Wilson will be a healthy scratch as the No. 3 behind Mike White and Joe Flacco.

  • Corey Davis To Practice In Full Wednesday

New York Jets wide receiver Corey Davis (knee) will be a full participant in practice on Wednesday, which is a big development after he missed the last few games with his knee injury. Head coach Robert Saleh called Davis day-to-day on Monday, and the team is hopeful that he can return in Week 12 to face the Chicago Bears on Sunday. The 27-year-old hasn't played since Week 7, so even if he does return this weekend, there's a good chance we won't see Davis play his usual number of offensive snaps. The Jets are also benching quarterback Zach Wilson for Mike White in Week 12, and although White could very well be an upgrade, it's another factor to consider if you still have Davis rostered in fantasy leagues.

  • Mike White To Start For Jets In Week 12

New York Jets quarterback Mike White will start in Week 12 against the Chicago Bears, according to head coach Robert Saleh. The Jets made the announcement on Wednesday that they are benching starter Zach Wilson, beginning this Sunday against Chicago. It remain to be seen if Wilson will get the opportunity to win the starting gig back this year, but for now he'll be the No. 3 signal-caller behind White and veteran Joe Flacco. The 27-year-old White is now a low-end QB2 option for fantasy managers in superflex leagues against the Bears this weekend. White played in four games (three starts) for the Jets last year and threw for 953 yards, five touchdowns and eight interceptions on 132 pass attempts.

  • Zach Wilson Won't Start Against Bears

New York Jets players were informed during a team meeting on Wednesday that quarterback Zach Wilson will not start in Week 12 against the Chicago Bears on Sunday, according to sources. Wilson is being benched despite going 5-2 on the season, with both of his losses coming to the New England Patriots. Not only is the 23-year-old being benched, but he will be a healthy scratch as the No. 3 QB behind Mike White and Joe Flacco. Wilson went 9-for-22 for just 77 yards in Sunday's loss to the Pats. Head coach Robert Saleh said the team still views Wilson as the franchise's long-term QB but that he's in need of a reset after missing the first three games of 2022 due to a knee injury. He has four touchdowns and five interceptions and is averaging just 6.8 yards per attempt in his seven starts.

  • Jets Designate T George Fant For Return

The Jets opted against blocking the Patriots from poaching practice squad tackle Conor McDermott on Tuesday. That transaction preceded good news on the injury front for New York. • Zach Wilson Not Guaranteed To Start In Week 12

New York Jets head coach Robert Saleh would not commit to Zach Wilson starting at quarterback against the Chicago Bears next Sunday. This is a significant development considering it marks the first time that Saleh has left the door open for Wilson to be benched. The 23-year-old has completed just 55.6 percent of passes for 1,279 yards, four touchdowns, and five interceptions through seven games this season. He also has 94 rushing yards, one rushing touchdown, and 16 sacks. If the Jets do make a change under center, Wilson's replacement would likely be Mike White, who has spent the past few weeks listed at No. 2 on the depth chart.

  • Jets Defense Has A Solid Game In Week 11

The New York Jets defense had a solid game in a Week 11 loss to the New England Patriots. They allowed 10 points and recorded six sacks, good for 11 fantasy points in standard scoring formats. They had only allowed three points up until a punt return that was one of the last plays of the game. The Jets defense was the only reason they were even in this game, as the offense was an absolute mess throughout.

  • Greg Zuerlein Makes His Only Kick In Week 11

New York Jets kicker Greg Zuerlein made his only kick, a 45 yard field goal, in a Week 11 loss to the New England Patriots. The Jets offense was unable to get anything at all going in a game that was 3-3 from the second quarter until basically the last play of the game. Zuerlein's kick ended up being the only three points the Jets would score. With the offense looking awful, Zuerlein may not be the best fantasy choice until something changes for the Jets.

  • Garrett Wilson Catches Two Passes In Week 11 Loss

New York Jets rookie wide receiver Garrett Wilson made a pair of six-yard catches in a Week 11 loss to the New England Patriots. Wilson's two catches were tied for the team lead in a game where quarterback Zach Wilson only completed nine passes in total. Wilson's two catches for 12 yards was by no means a good performance, but there wasn't much he could have done about it as he was only targeted three times in a game where the Jets entire offense looked like a mess.

  • Tyler Conklin Makes Two Catches In Week 11

New York Jets tight end Tyler Conklin made two catches in a Week 11 loss to the New England Patriots. Conklin's two catches were tied for the team lead in a game where quarterback Zach Wilson completed just nine passes. Conklin's two catches went for a total of 15 yards, and he split them pretty evenly, gaining eight yards on one and seven on the other. He ended up with three targets on the game and should continue as a decent floor TE2 even with the Jets passing game in shambles.

  • Elijah Moore Makes Two Catches In A Week 11 Loss

New York Jets wide receiver Elijah Moore made two catches in a Week 11 loss to the New England Patriots. Moore was targeted four times and made the two catches for a total of 17 yards. He was tied for the team lead in catches and second in yards and targets. It was not a good game for the Jets offense. That being said, it was good to see Moore involved in the passing game again, making his first catch since Week 5.

  • Denzel Mims Leads The Jets In Yards In Week 11

New York Jets wide receiver Denzel Mims led the Jets in receiving yards in a Week 11 loss to the New England Patriots. Mims caught two passes for a total of 35 yards. He was targeted a team-high six times in a game that quarterback Zach Wilson completed just nine passes. Mims made one catch for 34 yards and another for just one yard. It was about as good a performance as you could expect in a game where the Jets offense looked completely out of sorts.

  • James Robinson Picks Up Just 10 Yards In Week 11

New York Jets running back James Robinson couldn't get much going in a Week 11 loss to the New England Patriots. He ran the ball seven times, gaining just 10 yards. He was not targeted in the passing game. The Jets offense struggled mightily in this game, with Michael Carter leading the backfield with just 19 yards. Still, it was encouraging to see Robinson end up with only one fewer carry than the backfield leader.

  • Michael Carter Leads The Jets Backfield...With 19 Yards

New York Jets running back Michael Carter led the Jets backfield in carries and yards in a Week 11 loss to the New England Patriots. That's the good news. The bad news was that his eight carries turned into just 19 yards. Quarterback Zach Wilson, who had an awful game, actually led the Jets with 26 yards on the ground. Carter's eight carries were one more than James Robinson's seven, but he was equally ineffective.

  • Corey Davis Ruled Out For Week 11

New York Jets wide receiver Corey Davis (knee) has been ruled out for the Week 11 matchup against the New England Patriots. This shouldn't come as a surprise considering Davis hasn't played since Week 7. The 27-year-old continues to deal with a lingering knee issue, but the team is hopeful he can return next week. In the meantime, Elijah Moore should be looking at an expanded role once again. Moore hasn't been productive over the last two weeks, but could be a desperation deep league option for Week 11.

  • Corey Davis Remains Sidelined Thursday

New York Jets wide receiver Corey Davis (knee) didn't practice Thursday. He hasn't played since Week 7 and is trending toward missing another game. The 27-year-old will have one more chance to practice to have a chance of suiting up against the New England Patriots in Week 11. He has 19 catches for 352 yards and two touchdowns over seven games in 2022. Elijah Moore will once again have an expanded role if Davis is ruled out ahead of Sunday's game. Moore is not on the fantasy radar and has seen just two targets over the last two games despite Davis being inactive for both weeks. Fantasy managers can avoid using Moore in most league formats.

  • Jets Sign Laurent Duvernay-Tardif

The New York Jets are signing free-agent offensive lineman Laurent Duvernay-Tardif to an undisclosed deal on Thursday after his workout on Monday, according to a source. Duvernay-Tardif finished a portion of his medical residency in Canada recently. He liked his time with the Jets last year and has now returned to give them more offensive line depth for the rest of 2022. The 31-year-old veteran paused his NFL career in June to focus on his medical studies, but now he's back in the NFL after starting seven games for Gang Green last season.

  • Jets Defense A Good Choice In Week 11

The New York Jets defense makes for a solid option in Week 11 fantasy lineups. They'll hit the road to face an offensively limited New England Patriots team. The Jets defense has 11 interceptions and 26 sacks so far this season, both good for top-five placement in each category. They also have the fifth highest pressure rate in the league this year. They are a top-10 option with a fairly high floor for this matchup.

  • Greg Zuerlein A Solid Kicking Option In Week 11

New York Jets kicker Greg Zuerlein is a solid option in fantasy lineups for a Week 11 matchup against the New England Patriots. Zuerlein is averaging nine points per game, ranking him seventh among kickers this season. The Patriots defense has been good at limiting touchdowns, so Zuerlein could see multiple field goal chances in this game. He's a top-12 option in fantasy football's least predictable position.

  • Tyler Conklin A Risky Option In Week 11

New York Jets tight end Tyler Conklin is a risky option in Week 11 fantasy lineups. Conklin has had some solid weeks, finishing as a top-15 option five times, but he's also finished outside of the top-25 four times. The Patriots boast a solid defense, leaving Conklin as a touchdown dependent TE2, but with a zero floor.

  • Garrett Wilson A Solid Week 11 Option

New York Jets rookie wide receiver Garrett Wilson is a solid fantasy option in Week 11 against the New England Patriots. Wilson put up 29 fantasy points in the two games the Jets played before their bye week, including a 15 point performance the last time these two teams faced off. The Patriots defense is giving up the fourth fewest fantasy points to opposing wide receivers, but Wilson should remain the focus of the New York passing game, making him a good combo of floor and ceiling in the WR2 ranks.

  • James Robinson Has A Tough Matchup In Week 11

New York Jets running back James Robinson will have a tough matchup in a Week 11 game against the New England Patriots. The New England defense has been second best in the league at limiting opposing running backs so far this season. While it is unclear if things will have changed over the Jets bye week, Michael Carter seemed to be running ahead of Robinson before the bye and may continue to do so, leaving Robinson with the smaller share of the backfield. That, combined with the tough matchup, leaves Robinson as a lower-end RB3/4, although there is some upside there.

  • Michael Carter Has A Tough Matchup In Week 11

New York Jets running back Michael Carter faces a tough matchup in a Week 11 game against the New England Patriots. The Patriots defense is giving up the second fewest fantasy points to opposing running backs this season, and Carter scored just eight in their last meeting. With Carter now at least the 1A in the Jets backfield, he should get a few more chances to run the ball and has some upside. Coming off an RB9 finish and 15 fantasy points in Week 9, Carter is a solid floor RB3 in Week 11.

  • Zach Wilson Not A Good Option In Week 11

New York Jets quarterback Zach Wilson is not a strong fantasy option in Week 11 lineups. The Jets will travel to New England to take on the Patriots on Sunday, where they will face off against a tough defensive unit. Wilson has game managed the Jets to a surprising tie for second place in the AFC East, but it's been the running game and defense that has really gotten them there. Wilson has just four touchdowns and 1202 passing yards in six games this season and is averaging a QB19 finish in fantasy. He doesn't need to be rostered in 1QB leagues.

  • Corey Davis Misses Practice Wednesday

New York Jets wide receiver Corey Davis (knee) missed Wednesday's practice. The sixth-year receiver suffered his knee injury back in Week 7, and was expected to improve physically over the team's Week 10 bye. However, with this recent absence, Davis doesn't appear to be on the fast track toward being able to play against the New England Patriots in Week 11. When the 27-year-old had already missed the Jets' previous two games and is still not practicing after their bye, he'll most likely be unavailable once again. His situation should be monitored throughout the week to gain a better understanding of where he's at.

Despite being a sixth-round pick, Laurent Duvernay-Tardif has been a starter for nearly his entire career. • Jets Looking To Add Laurent Duvernay-Tardif

The New York Jets brought in right guard Laurent Duvernay-Tardif for a workout and are looking to add him to their practice squad. The 31-year-old, who possesses medical training, stepped away from football in 2020 to assist with the COVID-19 pandemic. He was drafted by the Chiefs in 2014 and spent the first five years of his career there. He also appeared in eight games for the Jets during the second half of last year. New York is currently second in the AFC East, looking to bolster its depth for a potential playoff run.

  • Max Mitchell Designated To Return From Injured Reserve

New York Jets head coach Robert Saleh said the team designated rookie offensive lineman Max Mitchell (knee) to return from Injured Reserve on Monday, which opens up a 21-day window for the team to officially activate him from Injured Reserve. Mitchell will return to practice this week and could play in Week 11 against the New England Patriots. The 23-year-old was injured in Week 4 against the Pittsburgh Steelers and hasn't played since, but his impending return is good news for the Jets' offensive line. The Jets selected Mitchell in the fourth round of this year's draft out of Louisiana.

  • Corey Davis Remains Day-To-Day

New York Jets head coach Robert Saleh said that wide receiver Corey Davis (knee) remains day-to-day on Monday coming off the bye in Week 10. David suffered his knee injury in Week 7 and has missed the team's last two games. He'll have a chance to return in Week 11 against the New England Patriots, but he'll have to show improvement at practice this week. With quarterback Zach Wilson struggling to move the ball consistently through the air so far this year, it's hard for fantasy managers to trust any Jets receiver not named Garrett Wilson. So if Davis makes it back this weekend, he'll be an extremely shaky WR4/flex in deeper leagues. The 27-year-old has caught 19 of his 34 targets for 351 yards and two touchdowns in seven games played, but most of his damage came with Joe Flacco under center.
