  • Jakobi Meyers' Shoulder Injury Isn't Serious

New England Patriots wide receiver Jakobi Meyers (shoulder) said his right shoulder was "sore" after the Thursday night loss to the Minnesota Vikings on Thanksgiving, but he also said "I'll be alright." He was injured on the first offensive play of the game, but he returned in the second half after undergoing X-rays in the locker room. When Meyers returned, he was on a limited snap count and finished the contest with three catches for 63 yards. It appeared that he aggravated his shoulder in the second half, but Meyers is confident he'll be fine moving forward. Fantasy managers should be happy that Meyers even returned to this contest to give them any production at all, but it sounds as though he should be fine to play next Thursday against the Buffalo Bills, barring any setbacks.

  • Damien Harris Seen On Crutches After Thursday's Game

New England Patriots running back Damien Harris (thigh) was seen on crutches in the team's locker room following their Thursday night loss to the Minnesota Vikings on Thanksgiving. Harris saw only five carries for 16 yards against Minnesota and looked to be in a considerable amount of pain walking around on the sidelines. The 25-year-old should be viewed as extremely questionable to play next Thursday against the Buffalo Bills. Rhamondre Stevenson, who is already the team's lead back at this point, would have an even higher fantasy ceiling if Harris were to miss any time. Rookie Pierre Strong Jr., Kevin Harris and J.J. Taylor would also be in line for more work in New England's backfield behind Stevenson. Stay tuned for more updates on Harris' injury.

  • Patriots Remain A Top-Five Defense Against Vikings

The New England Patriots defense/special teams stymied the New York Jets' offense in Week 11. New England has been the number fantasy defense over the last six weeks and is allowing just 16.9 points per game this season, second-best in the NFL. Folk will look to rebound against the Minnesota Vikings in the Thanksgiving night game. Thursday's over/under between the Vikings and Patriots is 42.5.
