  • Jaguars Want To Re-Sign TE Evan Engram

Evan Engram‘s one-year “prove it” deal ended up benefiting both he and the Jaguars. The former first-round pick provided a significant boost at a position the Jaguars had struggled to staff for many years. The former Giants draftee caught 73 passes for 766 yards — both career-high marks, with the yardage figure setting a new […]

  • Jaguars, Evan Engram Mutually Interested In Reunion

Jacksonville Jaguars general manager Trent Baalke said that there is mutual interest in re-signing impending free-agent tight end Evan Engram this offseason. Engram played a full season for the first time in his career on a one-year deal with Jacksonville in 2022 and set career-highs in catches (73) and receiving yards (766) while scoring four touchdowns on 98 targets in 17 regular season games. He added 12 receptions for 124 yards and a touchdown in two playoff games. The former first-rounder developed nice chemistry with young quarterback Trevor Lawrence and put himself on the TE1 map in fantasy at the most shallow position. If Engram returns to Jacksonville, he'll absolutely be on the TE1 radar in fantasy drafts after the elite names at the position come off the board.

  • Jaguars Expect Calvin Ridley To Be Reinstated

Jacksonville Jaguars head coach Doug Pederson said that the team expects wide receiver Calvin Ridley to be reinstated soon. He can apply for reinstatement on Feb. 15, but he won't be able to have contact with the team football-wise until April 17. Ridley was suspended for the entire 2022 season after he was caught betting on NFL games in November of 2021. The 28-year-old was acquired from the Atlanta Falcons by the Jaguars in exchange for conditional draft picks in 2023 and 2024. Ridley played in only five games due to injury in 2021, but he had a 1,000-yard season with nine touchdowns in 2020 and will add more firepower to an improving Jacksonville offense under young quarterback Trevor Lawrence in 2023.

  • Jaguars Defense Allows 27 Points In Postseason Loss

The defense of the Jacksonville Jaguars allowed 27 points to the Kansas City Chiefs in Saturday's loss on the road in the Divisional Round of the playoffs. Even with Patrick Mahomes suffering an ankle injury early in the game, the Jaguars had no answers for Travis Kelce and they allowed Chad Henne to lead a 98-yard touchdown drive in the second quarter. On top of that, Jacksonville's defense surrendered 144 rushing yards to Kansas City. Despite the Jaguars coming up short of advancing to the AFC title game, things are trending in the right direction for the offense and the defense entering next season.

  • Riley Patterson Makes Two Field Goals In Playoff Loss

Jacksonville Jaguars kicker Riley Patterson made both of his field-goal attempts and both of his extra-point tries in Saturday's 27-20 loss to the Kansas City Chiefs. After making just one of his three field-goal attempts in Week 10 against the Chiefs, the 23-year-old kicker would finish the season making 19 of his last 20 field-goal attempts. Even though Patterson is an exclusive-rights free agent this offseason, it would be somewhat surprising not to see him back with the Jaguars next season.

  • Evan Engram Registers 31 Yards In Playoff Loss

Jacksonville Jaguars tight end Evan Engram recorded five receptions for 31 yards on six targets in Saturday's 27-20 loss to the Kansas City Chiefs. The former first-round pick saw the third-most targets on the Jaguars against the Chiefs and he accrued 12 catches, 124 yards, and a touchdown in Jacksonville's two postseason games. After signing a one-year deal with the Jaguars in the offseason, the 28-year-old tight end's future with the team is unknown right now. Regardless of where Engram signs in the offseason, he could be a solid option again in fantasy football next season.

  • Marvin Jones Jr. Limited To 21 Yards In Playoff Loss

Jacksonville Jaguars wide receiver Marvin Jones Jr. caught only one of his three targets for 21 yards in Saturday's 27-20 loss against the Kansas City Chiefs. The experienced wideout has been an inconsistent option all season with him being behind Christian Kirk, Zay Jones, and Evan Engram in terms of Trevor Lawrence's go-to options in the passing game. After combining for four receptions, 50 yards, and a touchdown in this year's playoffs, Jones' future with the Jaguars is unknown as he is set to be an unrestricted free agent this offseason.

  • Christian Kirk Tallies 52 Yards, Touchdown In Playoff Defeat

Jacksonville Jaguars wide receiver Christian Kirk brought in seven of his 14 targets for 52 yards and a touchdown in Saturday's 27-20 loss to the Kansas City Chiefs. The talented slot wideout had a dropped deep pass from Trevor Lawrence in the first half that would've made his numbers look a lot better in the loss. The dynamic wide receiver also left for a series in the fourth quarter due to a knee injury he suffered late in the contest. Kirk would return for the final offensive series for the Jaguars and he should remain a solid wide receiver to target in 2023 despite the expected addition of Calvin Ridley to the offense.

  • Zay Jones Records 83 Receiving Yards In Postseason Loss

Jacksonville Jaguars wide receiver Zay Jones hauled in five of his seven targets for a team-high 83 receiving yards in Saturday's 27-20 loss to the Kansas City Chiefs. The former second-round pick combined for 13 catches, 157 yards, and a touchdown in Jacksonville's two postseason games. After signing with the Jaguars before the 2022 season, the veteran wideout quickly became the No. 2 target for Trevor Lawrence. Even though Jones proved to be a great addition for the Jaguars this season, it remains to be seen what his role looks like in 2023 when Calvin Ridley is inserted into the offense.

  • Travis Etienne Jr. Finds End Zone In Playoff Loss

Jacksonville Jaguars running back Travis Etienne Jr. rushed for 62 yards and a touchdown on 10 attempts while he also caught three passes for 18 yards in Saturday's loss to the Kansas City Chiefs. After rushing for 109 yards in last week's win over the Los Angeles Chargers, the second-year back was effective on the ground again in the 27-20 defeat versus the Chiefs. The Jaguars didn't have many opportunities to run the ball in the second half as they were playing from behind for the entirety of the game. Despite the loss in the Divisional Round, Etienne figures to be a popular running back to target in fantasy football next season.

  • Trevor Lawrence Totals 243 Yards In Playoff Loss

Jacksonville Jaguars quarterback Trevor Lawrence completed 24 of his 39 attempts for 217 yards, one touchdown, and an interception while he rushed for 26 yards on three carries in Saturday's loss to the Kansas City Chiefs. After coming back from a 27-point deficit in last week's postseason win over the Los Angeles Chargers, the second-year quarterback couldn't create more magic against the Chiefs. Even though Lawrence wasn't able to help the Jaguars advance to the next round of the playoffs, things are looking bright for the talented signal-caller entering next season.

  • Jaguars Defense Is Risky Option In The Divisional Round

The defense of the Jacksonville Jaguars is a risky option in Saturday's Divisional Round matchup against the Kansas City Chiefs. With Patrick Mahomes at the helm, the Chiefs boasted the No. 1 scoring offense and the No. 1 ranked DVOA offense this season by a decent margin. Meanwhile, the Jaguars have forced multiple turnovers in four of their last six games and have tallied 19 sacks in that six-game span. Despite Jacksonville's recent success on defense, it's tough to trust them on the road against Mahomes and Kansas City on Saturday.

  • Riley Patterson Is Solid Option In Divisional Round Matchup

Jacksonville Jaguars kicker Riley Patterson is a solid option in Saturday's Divisional Round matchup versus the Kansas City Chiefs. The second-year kicker has been efficient since these teams faced off in Week 10 when he made only one of his three field-goal attempts. Since Week 12, the 23-year-old kicker has converted 16 of his 17 field-goal attempts. If the Jaguars can move the ball against the Chiefs on Saturday, then Patterson should have a decent number of opportunities to score points.

  • Evan Engram Is Formidable Option In The Divisional Round

Jacksonville Jaguars tight end Evan Engram is a solid option in Saturday's Divisional Round showdown with the Kansas City Chiefs. The former first-round pick posted seven catches for 93 yards and a touchdown on 11 targets in last week's comeback win over the Los Angeles Chargers. After facing the Chargers, the 28-year-old tight end will face a Chiefs defense that is giving up the 10th most yards per reception and the fifth-most touchdowns to TEs this season. With a ton of people likely using either Travis Kelce or George Kittle, Engram is a nice tight end to use in DFS this weekend.

  • Marvin Jones Jr. A Risky Option In Divisional Round Matchup

Jacksonville Jaguars wide receiver Marvin Jones Jr. is a risky option in Saturday's Divisional Round bout against the Kansas City Chiefs. The veteran wideout caught three passes for 29 yards and a touchdown in last week's victory versus the Los Angeles Chargers. It's been tough to trust the former fifth-round pick every week this season, but he has recorded four-plus targets in five straight games. While Jones is certainly a risky play this weekend, he's a decent GPP option for those in DFS that want to get a bit different from the field.

  • Zay Jones Is Viable Option In The Divisional Round

Jacksonville Jaguars wide receiver Zay Jones is a solid option in Saturday's Divisional Round matchup versus the Kansas City Chiefs. After combining for only eight receptions for 59 yards from Weeks 16 through 18, the 27-year-old wideout caught eight of his 13 targets for 74 yards and a touchdown in last week's Wild Card win over the Los Angeles Chargers. The Jaguars are likely going to need to throw the ball to keep up with the Chiefs on Saturday and Kansas City's defense has given up the eighth-most points per game to WRs. Even though Christian Kirk is the No. 1 target, Jones has proven to have a strong rapport with Trevor Lawrence.

  • Christian Kirk Is Fantastic Option In The Divisional Round

Jacksonville Jaguars wide receiver Christian Kirk is a fantastic option in Saturday's Divisional Round showdown against the Kansas City Chiefs. The talented slot wide receiver hauled in eight of his 14 targets for 78 yards and a touchdown in last week's come-from-behind win versus the Los Angeles Chargers. The Chiefs are allowing the seventh-most points per game to slot WRs, so the former second-round pick should be heavily involved again on Saturday. With Kirk being the No. 1 option for Trevor Lawrence, he provides us with a safe floor and a nice ceiling if he can score a touchdown for the third straight week.

  • Travis Etienne Jr. Should Be Busy In Divisional Round Matchup

Jacksonville Jaguars running back Travis Etienne Jr. is poised for a decent workload in Saturday's Divisional Round matchup versus the Kansas City Chiefs. The second-year back accrued 121 scrimmage yards on 21 total touches in last week's Wild Card victory over the Los Angeles Chargers. During the regular season, the Chiefs allowed the most receptions (112) and the fourth-most receiving yards (806) to RBs this season. With Etienne being a focal point of the Jaguars' offense and the Chiefs giving up plenty of production to dual-threat backs, he is primed to get plenty of work on Saturday.

  • Trevor Lawrence Questionable For Divisional Round

Jacksonville Jaguars quarterback Trevor Lawrence (toe) is listed as questionable for the upcoming Divisional Round matchup against the Kansas City Chiefs. Fantasy managers shouldn't be too concerned as Lawrence continues to pick up a questionable tag. Despite that, Lawrence has been playing well through this toe injury the last few weeks. He would need to suffer a legitimate setback for him to sit out this weekend's game. The Jaguars are likely just limiting his reps in practice to avoid him suffering a setback. Although, fantasy managers should check back later this week for another update.
