  • Trevor Lawrence To Be Limited In Rookie Minicamp

Jacksonville Jaguars quarterback Trevor Lawrence (shoulder), the No. 1 overall pick in this year's draft, will be limited in what he's asked to do in this weekend's rookie minicamp. He is doing well in his rehab from surgery on his non-throwing shoulder, so the Jaguars are just being extra cautious with their franchise signal-caller. It doesn't make any sense for the team to push their prized asset this early in the offseason, even if his surgery was all the way back in February. Lawrence should be 100 percent ready to go by the time training camp begins this summer. He will be the team's starter in Week 1 and has the athleticism, footwork and accuracy to be successful in his rookie season. However, it remains to be seen if Jacksonville's offense will be productive enough around him to support his fantasy value in single-year leagues in 2021.

  • Jaguars Planning To Sign Tim Tebow

The Jacksonville Jaguars are planning to sign quarterback-turned-tight-end Tim Tebow to an undisclosed one-year deal, and it could become official in the next week or so. Tebow will have a chance to make the team and reunite with head coach Urban Meyer, who was his mentor and college head coach at the University of Florida. The 33-year-old gave up his baseball career with the New York Mets and is now giving it another go on the gridiron at a different position. The Jaguars have long been looking for a tight end, but that's unlikely to be Tebow. He last played in the NFL with the New York Jets in 2012. If Tebow were to win a roster spot out of training camp, he'd be competing with Chris Manhertz, James O'Shaughnessy and rookie Luke Farrell for playing time.

  • Jaguars Take Jalen Camp

With the 209th pick in the 2021 NFL Draft, the Jacksonville Jaguars have selected Georgia Tech wide receiver Jalen Camp. Camp never had more than 29 catches in a season at Georgia Tech and struggles as a route runner, but there's some appeal here because of his combination of size and speed. He could be an intriguing piece at some point for the Jaguars, but he's not one of the more-appealing dynasty stashes out of this class.

  • Jaguars Select Luke Farrell

With the 145th pick in the 2021 NFL Draft, the Jacksonville Jaguars have selected Ohio State tight end Luke Farrell. Farrell wasn't among the top tight end prospects in this draft class, making the selection a little puzzling. He had just five catches this past season for the Buckeyes and four touchdowns over his four seasons in Columbus. Farrell can block at the NFL level, but can he make catches against NFL defenses? He's not currently on the fantasy radar and there's a good chance he won't ever be.
