J.J. Watt Has Offers From Multiple Teams
Free-agent defensive lineman J.J. Watt has received contract offers from multiple teams, according to league sources. The largest offer on the table is believed to be worth between $15 million and $16 million. The Cleveland Browns are one of the teams interested in the pass-rusher, but it's unclear if they have submitted an offer to the five-time Pro Bowler. The three-time Defensive Player of the Year was released by the Houston Texans earlier this month after a decade-long run with the team. Around a dozen teams, including the Browns, Pittsburgh Steelers, Tennessee Titans and Buffalo Bills, expressed interest in Watt shortly after his release. The soon-to-be 32-year-old ranked 15th out of 119 qualified pass-rushers in pass-rush win rate in 2020. Watt has been slowed by injuries in recent seasons, but he can still make a huge impact with any team that signs him.

Browns Likely To Sign Pass Rusher In Free Agency
Feb 21 · Pro Football Rumors Browns Myles Garrett Von Miller J.J. WattCardinals Might Take A Swing On J.J. Watt
Arizona Cardinals general manager Steve Keim acknowledged that the team might "take a swing" on adding free-agent sack master J.J. Watt this offseason. The former three-time Defensive Player of the Year turns 32 years old next month and may have lost a step, but he'll be highly coveted on the open market after the Houston Texans released him last week. Wide receiver DeAndre Hopkins, who played with Watt in Houston, is already trying to recruit Watt to the desert. While Arizona would probably love to bring Watt into the fold, things could get tricky with the lowered salary cap in 2021. Watt is no longer one of the first defensive players off the board in IDP leagues, as he's been limited by injuries in three of the last five seasons and had just nine sacks in 2019 and 2020 combined.

Titans Reach Out To J.J. Watt
Tennessee Titans general manager Jon Robinson said that he has reached out to free-agent pass-rusher J.J. Watt's, and "it's early in the stages" when it comes to Watt deciding where he'll play after being released by the Houston Texans last Friday. The Titans would like to add the All-Pro to their defensive line, but they'll need to clear the necessary salary cap space in order to do so this offseason. A first-round pick in 2011, Watt will turn 32 in March and his best days in the NFL are likely behind him, but he can still be productive when healthy and could help the Titans Defense take the next step. Watt is a five-time Pro Bowler and five-time All-Pro, but injuries have taken a toll on him in recent years. He had 16 sacks back in 2018 but has just nine combined sacks the last two seasons for Houston.

J.J. Watt Considering Joining The Browns
Free-agent J.J. Watt is "seriously considering" joining the Cleveland Browns, according to a story published on Cleveland.com. The three-time NFL Defensive Player of the Year was released by the Houston Texans last week and is reportedly looking for a market-value contract and a chance to play for a Super Bowl contender. With plenty of cap space and coming off a surprising run in the playoffs, Cleveland is in a position to check both of those boxes for the star defender. The Browns are also in need of a pass-rusher to pair with Myles Garrett after Olivier Vernon tore his Achilles' tendon at the end of the 2020 season Cleveland was also very interested in the services of Jadeveon Clowney last offseason and was prepared to offer him a large contract, although Clowney was not interested in coming to Cleveland. The Pittsburgh Steelers, Buffalo Bills, Tennessee Titans, and several other teams have shown interest in Watt's services over the past week.
