  • James Cook Barely Involved In Win

Buffalo Bills running back James Cook disappointed after a great outing last week. The rookie back rushed for 86 yards on 11 carries in Week 11. However, he was not able to have the same success this week. The 23-year-old saw two carries for four yards in the win over the Detroit Lions. He also added two receptions for an additional 14 yards, but it wasn't enough to salvage his fantasy value. It's tough to trust Cook in fantasy leagues right now. Devin Singletary is the lead back and gets a majority of the carries. Cook will be a desperation flex option in deep leagues going forward.

  • James Cook Holds Low-End RB3 Value

Buffalo Bills running back James Cook posted a surprisingly strong outing against the Cleveland Browns last week. The rookie back rushed 11 times for 86 yards in the win. He totaled as many yards as Devin Singletary, but with seven less touches. However, the fact he's getting around five carries a game is holding back his fantasy value. The Bills are unlikely to increase his workload by much with Singletary playing this well. Despite that, Cook should still be able to have success against the Detroit Lions shaky defense. Fantasy managers should consider Cook a low-end RB3 for the Thanksgiving matchup with the Lions.

  • James Cook Posts Surprisingly Strong Outing

Buffalo Bills running back James Cook hasn't made much of an impact in this offense over the last few weeks. However, the rookie back was able to make his presence known against the Cleveland Browns on Sunday. He rushed 11 times for 86 yards in the Week 11 victory. Cook managed the same amount of rushing yards as Devin Singletary with seven less touches. It's nice to see Cook putting together a productive outing, but it's unlikely to continue. The Bills continue to lean on Singletary as their lead back, so Cook isn't likely to get more than a handful of touches each week. That being said, Cook should be considered a RB4 for the Week 12 matchup against the Detroit Lions.

  • James Cook Barely A Deep League Option

Buffalo Bills running back James Cook has continued to maintain his backup spot behind Devin Singletary in the backfield. However, it hasn't resulted in much production for Cook over the last few weeks. In Week 10, Cook rushed five times for 22 yards with Singletary, Duke Johnson, and Nyheim Hines getting mixed in as well. Cook has seen four or more carries in four of his last five games. Although, it's tough for him to have success with such a small workload every week. At this point, Cook is only a desperation deep league option with Singletary healthy right now.

  • Bills Elevate CB Xavier Rhodes, RB Duke Johnson From Practice Squad; No QB Elevated

Two veterans that have been stashed on the Bills practice squad are set to make their season debuts for the team this week. Buffalo has elevated cornerback Xavier Rhodes and running back Duke Johnson for this weekend’s matchup against the Vikings. The Bills are extremely deep at cornerback, but an injury to first-round rookie Kaiir […]

  • James Cook Unlikely To Play A Big Role

Buffalo Bills running back James Cook hasn't seen much involvement in this offense through the first nine games of the season. Lead back Devin Singletary has run away with the starting job in Buffalo. That leaves Cook with only a handful of touches each game, which might even decrease now. It's possible that Nyheim Hines takes away those touches from Cook, which would leave him with basically no role whatsoever. At this point, Cook has become the third string back in Buffalo. It's highly unlikely he'll do much damage with Singletary and Hines healthy right now.
