  • Devin Duvernay Returns To Practice

Baltimore Ravens wide receiver Devin Duvernay (thigh) returned to practice on Saturday at training camp after missing the last five days with a thigh bruise. He's currently listed as the starting receiver alongside Rashod Bateman on Baltimore's depth chart. Duvernay should have added opportunities in the passing game in 2022 with Marquise Brown now in Arizona, but third-year receiver James Proche II has been lights-out in training camp and will also be competing for targets behind No. 1 Bateman. The 24-year-old caught 33 of his 47 targets for 272 yards and two touchdowns in 16 games (seven starts) in his second NFL season, but despite the bigger role in this run-first offense, he should be left to the waiver wire in standard 12-team leagues to open the year.

  • Devin Duvernay Suffers Thigh Bruise

Baltimore Ravens wide receiver Devin Duvernay (thigh) reportedly suffered a thigh bruise, but it is not believed to be a major concern. Head coach John Harbaugh described it as "nothing serious," stating, "He could have come back; I just said, No, not tonight." Duvernay and fellow receivers James Proche II and Tylan Wallace are expected to compete for the No. 2 receiver role behind Rashod Bateman. While tight end Mark Andrews will lead the way followed by Bateman, there will be plenty of opportunity available for Duvernay if he can earn the role, which would make him an intriguing late-round target in fantasy drafts.
