The Atlanta Falcons acquired wide receiver Bryan Edwards from the Las Vegas Raiders on Friday. It's unknown what the Raiders are receiving in return. Even after adding wideout Drake London in the first round of this year's draft, the Falcons were in need of more receiving help with Calvin Ridley suspended for all of the 2022 season. Given that Olamide Zaccheaus and Auden Tate are the top receivers behind London, Edwards could immediately become the No. 2 pass-catcher for quarterback Marcus Mariota this year. The former third-round pick had 571 receiving yards and three touchdowns last year on 34 receptions in just his second NFL season, and he's still only 23 years old. There is more opportunity for Edwards in Atlanta, but it's also a downgrade overall on offense from Derek Carr to Mariota.
