  • Amari Cooper Returns To Practice Wednesday

Cleveland Browns wide receiver Amari Cooper (ankle) returned to training camp practice on Wednesday and is taking part in individual drills. Cooper didn't participate in practice on Tuesday after tweaking his ankle on Monday. It's good news that he's already back, as the Browns' thin receiving corps is already without rookie David Bell (foot) and Anthony Schwartz (knee) in camp. Cooper will be the team's unquestioned No. 1 receiver in his first year in Cleveland, but he won't have quarterback Deshaun Watson throwing him passes until Week 7, which will put a dent in his fantasy upside early on. Fantasy managers should consider drafting the 28-year-old as a low-end WR2 this year.

  • Amari Cooper Dealing With Ankle Injury

Cleveland Browns head coach Kevin Stefanski said that wide receiver Amari Cooper (ankle) will not practice on Tuesday but he'll be back on the practice field soon at training camp. Cooper tweaked his ankle in practice on Monday. It doesn't sound like the 28-year-old's injury is very serious, so fantasy managers shouldn't have any concerns about drafting him. However, the Browns wideouts are extremely banged up in training camp, with David Bell (foot) and Anthony Schwartz (knee) also sidelined. Cooper will be the team's unquestioned No. 1 wideout in his first year in Cleveland, and although quarterback Deshaun Watson is suspended for the first six games of the season, Cooper will be a low-end WR2 in fantasy drafts this fall.
