Jarvis Landry Agrees To One-Year Deal
Updating a previous report, wide receiver Jarvis Landry inked a one-year contract worth as much as $6 million with New Orleans on Friday. After it was reported for weeks the veteran could be staying in the AFC North to return to the Browns or join the Ravens, he will instead head back to his home state to suit up for the Saints. The 29-year-old is a multi-time Pro Bowl wideout and has been potent option for quarterbacks over the years. However, Landry is coming off arguably the worst season of his career, although playing alongside Michael Thomas and rookie Chris Olave during the 2022-23 campaign may help him get back on track. Still, despite a potential resurgence, managers shouldn't make any drastic moves during fantasy drafts to acquire his services.May 14 · Source via Saints Jarvis Landry
Jarvis Landry Signing With The Saints
Free-agent wide receiver Jarvis Landry is signing an undisclosed deal with the New Orleans Saints on Friday, according to a source. The five-time Pro Bowler has 43 career touchdowns, is from Louisiana and played at nearby LSU. The 29-year-old pass-catcher had the worst season of his career in 2021, but he only played in 12 games due to knee injuries and also had to deal with poor quarterback play from Baker Mayfield. He finished with 52 receptions on 87 targets for 570 yards and two touchdowns. The five-time Pro Bowler will be competing for targets with rookie first-rounder Chris Olave in his new home, and he'll be behind Michael Thomas as well in the slot. But Landry should at least be quarterback Jameis Winston's No. 3 target behind Tre'Quan Smith and Marquez Callaway.May 13 · Source via Saints Jarvis Landry

Packers To Pursue Another Wide Receiver?
Appearing on the Pat McAfee Show on Tuesday, NFL Network's Ian Rapoport suggested the Green Bay Packers could make a play for one of the veteran wide receivers still without a home. The free-agent receivers Rapoport called out included Jarvis Landry, Odell Beckham Jr.and Julio Jones. It remains to be seen if the Packers feel confident with their current trio of wide receivers in Allen Lazard, Sammy Watkinsand second-round rookie Christian Watson out of North Dakota State. Quarterback Aaron Rodgers has a history of trusting his veterans and is now without Davante Adamsand Marquez Valdes-Scantling. An incentive-laden deal could make an addition very realistic for Green Bay while presenting an opportunity for any of these receivers to have a meaningful role on a contender. Landry led this group of free agents last year with only 570 yards receiving. After arriving with the Los Angeles Rams, Beckham certainly looked revived but is coming off an ACL tear in the Super Bowl. Jones battled a hamstring injury for most of the year and had the worst season of his career. A signing would be good news for Rodgers, but would provide limited standalone value and would cap the value on Lazard and Watson.May 11 · Source via Packers Odell Beckham Jr. Julio Jones Jarvis Landry nfl draft

Browns No Longer Expected To Pursue Jarvis Landry
Free-agent wide receiver Jarvis Landry isn't expected to return to Cleveland. After both sides expressed mutual interest, it appears as if Landry will no longer ink a deal with the club. The veteran is coming off arguably his worst year in the league, finishing the 2021-22 campaign with 570 yards and two touchdowns off 52 receptions. The Ravens have been rumored to be in the running to acquire Landry's services, so if he heads to Baltimore, he'll have the potential to start opposite Rashod Bateman. However, considering the birds love to run the ball often, Landry may not be as effective as he was in previous years.May 8 · Source via Browns Jarvis Landry
