  • Titans To Promote Todd Downing To Offensive Coordinator

The Tennessee Titans are expected to promote tight ends coach Todd Downing to offensive coordinator, according to a source. The last time the Titans made an internal promotion of a tight ends coach, it was former offensive coordinator Arthur Smith, who is now the head coach of the Atlanta Falcons. Downing was also the offensive coordinator for the Oakland Raiders in 2017 and directed an offense led by quarterback Derek Carr. Under Smith last season, Tennessee's offense was tied for the second-best offense in the NFL in terms of yards per game and was fourth-best in points per game. The good news for Downing is he'll be getting running back Derrick Henry, quarterback Ryan Tannehill and wide receiver A.J. Brown back in 2021, so the Titans offense should be relatively strong yet again.

  • Derrick Henry Stymied By Ravens

Tennessee Titans running back Derrick Henry carried the ball 18 times for 40 yards in the team's wild-card round loss to the Ravens. He added three receptions for 11 yards. It was a sour close to the season after a dominant regular season campaign for Henry during which he racked up over 2,000 yards on the ground. As some consolation, Henry will remain under contract with the Titans in 2021, giving him another chance to contribute to a playoff run. There is no doubt, Henry will be one of the top picks in next year's fantasy drafts. All hail King Henry!

  • Derrick Henry Likely To Be Relied On Heavily Against Ravens

Tennessee Titans running back and NFL rushing leader Derrick Henry heads into next Saturday's wild-card showdown with the Ravens, a team he dismantled in the Divisional Round last year, averaging 5.36 yards per carry, with 17 touchdowns in 16 games this season. Henry's bruising mentality is going to be needed in what could be a physical battle of attrition. "It's been a very physical, very tough rivalry over the years," Ravens head coach John Harbaugh said on a conference call with Tennessee reporters on Wednesday, "and I don't think too much has changed over the years." Look for Henry to touch the ball 25-30 times in this playoff matchup.

  • Derrick Henry Eclipses 2,000 Yards On The Season

Tennessee Titans running back Derrick Henry ran the ball 34 times for 250 yards and two touchdowns in Sunday's 41-38 win over the Texans. With yet another huge performance against Houston, Henry became the eighth back in history to run for 2,000 yards in a season, with his 2,027 yards coming in as the fifth-highest mark ever. He also locked up his second straight rushing title in the process and set a new career-high with 17 rushing TDs. Henry will remain the key to the Titans' offense as they prepare to host the Ravens next Sunday in the wild-card round. He's looking very much like the first pick in fantasy drafts next season, after another profound season.

  • Derrick Henry Poised For Monster Game

Tennessee Titans running back Derrick Henry leads the league with 1,777 rushing yards and is primed to add a substantial chunk to that total in Week 17 when the Titans take on a Houston defense that has allowed the most rushing yards (2,082) and rushing touchdowns (19) to running backs this season. It's an extremely exciting matchup as the Titans will likely rely heavily on Henry to close out their season on a high note. There is absolutely no reason you should be avoiding Henry in this matchup. He's a no-doubt RB1 in week 17.

  • Derrick Henry Fails To Top 100 Yards In Blowout Loss

Tennessee Titans running back Derrick Henry rushed 23 times for 98 yards in Sunday's 40-14 loss to the Packers. He was not targeted in the passing game. Henry was held in check by Green Bay's defense. Henry failed to top 100 yards but still was very active in the game script, despite the Titans playing from behind for the majority of the game. Look for Henry to finish the regular season on a high note Sunday when he takes on the Texans, who he ran all over in their first meeting this year to the tune of 212 yards and two scores.

  • Derrick Henry 321 Yards Away From 2,000 On The Year

Tennessee Titans running back Derrick Henry has stiff-armed his way to league highs in both rushing yards (1,679) and rushing touchdowns (15) heading into the Titans Week 16 road matchup with a Packers Defense that has surrendered 18 scrimmage touchdowns to running backs, which is tied for third-most in the league. It's another juicy draw in Week 16 for Henry. He needs 321 yards over the final two weeks for a 2,000-yard rushing campaign, and the Packers are struggling to stop the run. Henry will likely keep rolling and should be started in all leagues.
