New YouTube videos are available to demonstrate setting up fantasy football Draft Buddy. This video series is broken up into four parts to show how to create custom cheatsheets for your fantasy football league.
If you subscribe to my YouTube channel then you should receive notifications when I upload any new videos. And don’t worry, I’m not one to post videos about my dog or DIY projects. Although I managed a heck of a pool fix this morning (pats self on back).
Here are the videos:
1. Download Draft Buddy
Overview of Draft Buddy custom cheatsheet and draft tracker fantasy tool. Includes how to download the file whether you purchased here or at FF Today, and a review of each tab.
Draft Buddy requires Microsoft Excel. It works on Windows and Mac versions of Excel, the only exception being Mac Office 2008. It will not work in Google Sheets or other spreadsheet programs because of advanced functionality only available in Excel.
Make sure to enable macros after opening Draft Buddy.
2. Rules
Learn about the settings on the rules tab to create custom cheatsheets for your fantasy league. Draft Buddy supports keepers or dynasty leagues. Use Draft Buddy for regular flex, superflex, and IDP format leagues.
Draft Buddy tracks pick style and auction-style drafts. For auctions, create custom cheatsheets with dollar values based on your league salary cap.
3. Scoring
Learn how to configure the scoring tab. This allows Draft Buddy to calculate projected fantasy points based on scoring for your fantasy football league and player projections.
Scoring options are available by position and include milestone yardage games and touchdown distance scoring.
4. Create Custom Cheatsheets
After the rules and scoring are input in Draft Buddy, use the action tab to create custom cheatsheets for your fantasy football league. Note the settings to completely reset Draft Buddy for a new league, or to save keepers when updating an existing league.
Thanks for watching. Feel free to post questions in the comments section.
Hi Mike.
Will you be discussing the “options” tab in a future video?
Hi Mark. Thanks for the comment. I sure can. What specifically are you thinking there – probably the weighted averaging of projections?
