Noting the Flash reference and running too fast, can we forget the release of fantasy baseball Draft Buddy version 2.0 was only last week? Now available, fantasy baseball Draft Buddy version 3.0.
Sorry, but I screwed up version 2.0. A significant change to the player pool in Draft Buddy requires a new download file, a.k.a. a new version. That was the reason for the release last week.
However, many players did not add properly. They are in the database powering this website, like top MLB prospect Wander Franco, but one missed step kept them from inclusion in Draft Buddy.
Now we are good! Fantasy baseball Draft Buddy version 3 added another 100+ players, including Franco and other top prospects. This is primarily to support our members who play dynasty fantasy baseball. In fact, all 250 prospects from Eric Cross’ excellent top prospects list are now in Draft Buddy.
Also, I noticed a few prior year stats errors for players who switched teams mid-season. After updating the database queries used to pull the stats for Draft Buddy, those are fixed.
Long story short, it wasn’t a simple fix to get us to this current version, but we are there now. Please discard versions 1.0 and 2.0, and download Draft Buddy version 3.0 to use going forward.
Again, my apologies for the mistake.
