We are about 90% done with the fantasy baseball season and now is the time you should be paying the closest attention of the year. You know what your team needs to succeed and you need to do those things to get there. As many of your league-mates are getting their fantasy football team put together, you should be making sure you are securing as many fantasy baseball points as possible. After putting six months into it (1 month preparing for the draft and season, 5 during the season) you have too much invested to let it go to pot now. Many of the owners in your league have already shifted their focus to football season and that is your advantage to slide through and claim some dough.
Now, the projected 2-starters for this week. For those of you in leagues who require you to set your lineup at the beginning of the week, these are guys you should strongly consider:

Rick’s Picks (5 best bets for double-start pitchers this week):
All five of my picks are in the same situation: stud pitchers, pitching in playoff situations against opponents who have lost interest in the season or are losing it quickly.
1. Tim Lincecum
2. Chris Carpenter
3. Josh Beckett
4. C.C. Sabathia
5. Rick Porcello (assuming Detroit doesn’t cut his starts now)
