How to Read the Charts
The Cubs are facing a LHP at home and in that situation they are currently putting up 2.88 FanDuel and 2.16 DraftKings points per plate appearance or ppa. The pitcher they are facing is Derek Holland and he is currently allowing 116% more ppa in FanDuel and 113% more ppa in DraftKings than the current MLB average (2.17 on FanDuel and 1.66 on DraftKings). The modified ppa is simply 2.88 x 116% in FanDuel and 2.16 x 113% in DraftKings.

My approach is to take the team’s current situation (home or away; vs. RHP or vs. LHP) DFS points/plate appearance (ppa) and multiply by the opposing pitcher’s DFS ppa divided by MLB average DFS ppa as a percentage.
