There hasn’t been much positive to say about the Royals this season. Witt is an absolute must-start in all fantasy leagues when he's on the field, as he's hitting .268 (120-for-447) on the year with 20 home runs, 67 RBI, 32 stolen bases and 59 runs scored in 110 games in just his second big-league campaign. Maikel Garcia will get the nod at shortstop instead and will bat in the leadoff spot against Tigers right-hander Michael Lorenzen. Nicky Lopez will also enter the lineup and play third base. He's currently hitting .251/.292/.447 with 16 home runs, 16 doubles, six triples, 51 RBI, 27 stolen bases and 50 runs scored in 416 plate appearances over 96 games for the Royals.
