  • Bo Bichette Picks Up Three RBI In Loss

Toronto Blue Jays shortstop Bo Bichette clubbed his 14th homer of the season as his club fell 6-5 to the Yankees on Tuesday. He took Jordan Montgomery to souvenir city for a solo shot in the third and added a two-run single later in the contest to finish the game going 2-for-4 with a walk and three RBI. The multi-hit performance was his third in the last four games as he continues to hit since the calendar flipped to June with a .364 BA this month. Bichette also padded his major league-leading run total to 57 to go along with 42 RBI, nine steals, and a .284 BA on the year, proving to be one of the top five-category hitters in the game.

  • Bo Bichette Swipes Ninth Base

Toronto Blue Jays shortstop Bo Bichette logged one of his club's four hits in a rare quiet night for the offense as his team fell 2-1 to the Red Sox on Monday. He finished the night going 1-for-4 and swiping his ninth base of the season and second in the last two days. He hadn't attempted a steal since May 14 before Sunday's game, so it's been reassuring to see him get back into the SB column. Bichette also leads the majors with 56 runs scored to go along with 13 HR, 39 RBI, and a .280 batting average. Managers should expect the 23-year-old to continue to pile up superb numbers in all five roto categories the rest of the way.

  • Bo Bichette Slugs Moonshot Homer In Win

Toronto Blue Jays shortstop Bo Bichette launched a mammoth 468-foot home run off Nick Pivetta on Saturday as his club went on to defeat the Red Sox 7-2. His no-doubter cleared the Big Monster at Fenway as part of a three-homer inning for the Jays, which included him going back-to-back with Marcus Semien. Bichette finished the game going 2-for-5 to up his average to .271 on the year with 12 bombs, 36 RBI, and 51 runs in 62 games. He's also stolen seven bags this season, but he's let off the gas in that department lately with no attempts since May 14. Still, managers should be more than pleased with his counting stats performance to date.

  • Bo Bichette Reaches Three Times Tuesday

Toronto Blue Jays shortstop Bo Bichette had a nice day at the plate on Tuesday, going 2-for-3 with a walk. He chipped into the offense with a double and a single to boost his average to .267 on the campaign, but unfortunately the bats behind him couldn't help him regain the league lead in runs tonight. Bichette's 46 runs sit one shy of Mark Canha, and his 11 homers, 34 RBI, and seven steals are nothing to scoff at either. Bichette should continue to post stellar numbers the rest of the way batting in the heart of a dangerous Jays lineup.

  • Bo Bichette Sparks Ninth Inning Comeback Win

Toronto Blue Jays shortstop Bo Bichette went 1-for-4 with a clutch two-run triple on Wednesday as the club made a ninth inning comeback to beat the Marlins 6-5. The 23-year-old struck out three times in the game, but erased that from his memory quickly with his game-tying triple off Yimi Garcia in the ninth. Bichette hasn't quite lived up to expectations with a .262 BA to date, but he's providing plenty of value with 11 homers, 34 RBI, seven steals, and a league-leading 44 runs scored.

  • Bo Bichette Socks 11th Bomb

Toronto Blue Jays shortstop Bo Bichette socked his 11th home run of the season on Thursday night as his club fell 5-3 to the Yankees in the second game of a doubleheader. His three-run shot came off starter Jordan Montgomery to provide the only runs for his team as he finished the game going 1-for-3. Bichette also slugged a round tripper in the first half of the double header as he now sports a .272 BA with 41 runs, 31 RBI, and seven steals through 49 games. Managers should be pleased with the 23-year-old's performance to date and can expect more of the same from him moving forward.

  • Bo Bichette Has Three-Hit Night

Toronto Blue Jays shortstop Bo Bichette had a nice night at the plate on Thursday, going 3-for-4 with a run and an RBI. He hit his 11th and 12th double of the season and also chipped in with a walk as he continues to stay hot this month. Bichette is hitting .316 in May with hits in nine of his last 10 games to up his season-long average to .285 with nine homers and seven steals. The 23-year-old is providing plenty of fantasy value in 2021 and should continue to produce in all categories across the board at the top of the Jays potent lineup.

  • Bo Bichette Cashes In Three Versus Braves

Toronto Blue Jays shortstop Bo Bichette went 2-for-5 with three RBI in Thursday's matinee versus the Braves, helping lead the club to an 8-4 victory. His biggest hit of the afternoon was a two-run double with the score tied in the top of the ninth inning to give the club a lead they would not relinquish. Bichette also scored a pair of runs in the contest to tie him for the American League lead with 31, as he continues to serve as an important cog at the top of the order. The 23-year-old is up to a .277/.321/.493 slash line on the season with three multi-hit games in his last four outings. He's putting together another strong fantasy season across the board.

  • Bo Bichette Swipes A Pair On Thursday

Toronto Blue Jays shortstop Bo Bichette was a menace on the basepaths on Thursday, stealing a pair of bags in the 10-4 win over the Athletics. He finished the game going 3-for-4 with a walk and a run scored as he upped his theft total to seven and his batting average to .270 on the year. The youngster is heating up at the dish with a .343 BA over his last eight games and he's providing plenty of fantasy value in the counting categories with seven homers, 25 runs, and 17 RBI. He looks like he's well on his way to a 20/20 season while the rest of his numbers will continue to pile up batting second in the formidable Jays lineup.

  • Bo Bichette Scores Three Runs On Wednesday

Toronto Blue Jays shortstop Bo Bichette was all over the base paths in the team's 9-4 win over the Oakland Athletics on Wednesday. Bichette went 1-for-5 in the game and tallied three runs to go along with a stolen base. Bichette closed out April on a high note, hitting home runs in each of his last two games. He's hitting just .254 so far this year, but he has seven home runs, six doubles, four stolen bases and 24 runs. Bichette has so much versatility that he should always help fantasy managers in at least a few departments. Look for his batting average to improve over the course of the year.

  • Bo Bichette Continues To Bounce Back

Toronto Blue Jays shortstop Bo Bichette continues to rebound with a big game against Washington Nationals on Wednesday. The young infielder hit a solo homer while going 2-for-4 against Erick Fedde and Daniel Hudson. After putting up zero hits in his last series against the Boston Red Sox, Bichette now has back-to-back multi-hit efforts at home against the Nationals. He will have another series at home with a three-game set against the Atlanta Braves before traveling west. After already surpassing his 2020 home run total in less than 100 plate appearances, look for Bichette's overall power numbers to continue to trend upwards. Shortstop is a deep position in fantasy this season so it is plausible that a rival manager might be willing to let Bichette go for under-market value. If you can add him, do it.

  • Bo Bichette Continues Hitless Streak Tuesday Night

Toronto Blue Jays shortstop Bo Bichette continued his hitless streak on Tuesday night, finishing 0-for-3 with a walk and two runs scored in a 9-5 win over the Nationals. Bichette has not recorded a hit since last Wednesday, as he has gone 0-for-15 with seven strikeouts over his last four games. Despite this slump, Bichette has still been solid early on with a .241/.295/.460 triple-slash line with five home runs, three steals, 12 RBI and 16 runs scored in 22 games. He'll look to break out of his slump on Wednesday.

  • Bo Bichette Belts Fifth Homer Versus Boston

Toronto Blue Jays shortstop Bo Bichette launched a solo home run over the Green Monster in the team's 4-2 loss to the Red Sox on Tuesday. He took Eduardo Rodriguez deep in the fourth inning for his fifth long ball of the season, finishing the day going 2-for-4 at the dish. Bichette is providing plenty of fantasy value this season with a .279/.315/.559 slash line, 13 runs, 11 RBI, and three steals as he remains an important cog in the middle of the Jays lineup. He'll look to stay hot with one more contest at Fenway Park this week before the club heads to Tampa Bay for a three-game set starting Friday.

  • Bo Bichette Extends Hit Streak To 11 Games, Homers Twice

Toronto Blue Jays shortstop Bo Bichette slugged a game-winning home run in the ninth inning of Wednesday's game against reliever Chad Green and the New York Yankees. The young shortstop finished the game 3-for-5 with two home runs and a stolen base in the 5-4 victory. Bichette is now 16-for-49 (.327) with four home runs and two steals through 12 games. He hit just five home runs in 29 games during an injury-filled 2020. He has hits in 11 straight games and is 8-for-16 (.500) over his past four games. The hot streak has coincided with the club's move of Vladimir Guerrero Jr. up into the three-hole behind Bichette.

  • Bo Bichette Drives In Five, Has Eight-Game Hit Streak

Toronto Blue Jays shortstop Bo Bichette had a strong game and drove in five runs during the club's 15-1 victory over the Los Angeles Angels on Saturday night. He went 2-for-4 with two doubles and a walk. He also scored three times. The young shortstop had previously struck out five times in his last nine at-bats. Bichette has had a relatively slow start to the year by his standards but is now hitting .270 with an OPS of .821. His BB-K of 1-12 needs some continued focus but he's quietly in the midst of an eight-game hit streak. Last year, Bichette battled injuries but still produced a 122 wRC+ in 29 games.

Apr 11 · RotoBaller Blue Jays Bo Bichette
  • Bo Bichette Slugs First Two Homers of 2021

Toronto Blue Jays shortstop Bo Bichette had two home runs in a losing effort on Tuesday. The club managed just six hits in the 7-4 loss but the young hitter accounted for half of the runs with his two solo shots off starter Dane Dunning and reliever Matt Bush. Bichette is now hitting .250 this spring with three of his five hits going for extra bases. He has a BB-K of 0-6 on the season. The top three hitters in the Jays' lineup have now accounted for five of the team's eight home runs this spring with Marcus Semien (two), Cavan Biggio (one), and Bichette(2). The Jays will soon receive outfielder George Springer (oblique) back from injury and he's expected to hit leadoff which will provide even more pop at the top.

Apr 7 · RotoBaller Blue Jays Bo Bichette
  • Bo Bichette Without A Run Or RBI Through Four Games

Toronto Blue Jays shortstop Bo Bichette has had an underwhelming start to the year, despite the Blue Jays winning three of their first four games. Bichette is 3-for-16 with a double. He's struck out five times and has been hit by a pitch, but he hasn't recorded a walk. Most surprisingly, he's yet to record either a run or an RBI despite hitting third in the potent Blue Jays lineup in each game to start the year. Bichette slashed .311/.358/.571 over 46 games in 2019 and slashed .301/.328/.512 over 30 games in 2020. He's also a stolen base threat as he racked up eight stolen bases over 2019 and 2020 combined. Fantasy managers who invested a great deal of draft stock in Bichette shouldn't be worried. The young Blue Jays star should start scoring and producing runs very soon.

  • Bo Bichette Hits Two Opposite-Field Homers

Toronto Blue Jays shortstop Bo Bichette broke out of his spring slump in a big way on Wednesday with a 3-for-3 day that included his first two home runs. He raised his batting average to .289 (11-for-38). The home runs were both opposite-field shots that came off Deivi Garcia and Luis Cessa. After producing ISO rates in excess of .200 in each of his MLB seasons, Bichette has a shot at a 20-20 (HR-SB) season if he can stay healthy. Injuries kept the young infielder to just 29 games last season but he hit .301 with five home runs, nine doubles, and stole four bases in five tries.
