  • Connor Joe Sitting Out On Sunday

Colorado Rockies first baseman Connor Joe is sitting out on Sunday against the Arizona Diamondbacks. Joe, who also missed Saturday's contest, has only played three games in August due to general soreness so that's the likely reason why he's sitting out on Sunday. He's really struggled over the last 15 games as well, slashing just .130/.238/.222 with four RBI over 54 at-bats. Yonathan Daza is starting in center field and batting leadoff in his place.

  • Connor Joe Returns To The Lineup On Thursday

Colorado Rockies outfielder Connor Joe is back in the starting lineup for Thursday's game against left-hander Tyler Anderson and the Los Angeles Dodgers. He will be leading off and playing first base. Joe exited this past Sunday's game after suffering an injury while diving for a catch in the field. The team stated that he was dealing with general soreness after the incident and he was held out of action for the team's next three games. The 29-year-old has had an underwhelming year overall in 2022. Over 87 games, he's slashed .257/.363/.377 with five home runs, six stolen bases, 24 RBI and 50 runs.

  • Connor Joe Not In Tuesday's Lineup, Available Off Bench

Colorado Rockies outfielder Connor Joe will not be part of the starting lineup for Tuesday's game against right-hander Michael Kopech and the Chicago White Sox. He is dealing with general soreness and this will be his second straight game on the bench. However, he will be available to pinch-hit off the bench for the contest. Joe began experiencing general soreness after attempting a diving catch in Sunday's game against the Milwaukee Brewers. He was removed from the contest after the incident and hasn't taken the field since.

  • Connor Joe Resting For Sunday's Series Finale

Colorado Rockies outfielder Connor Joe is not in the starting lineup for Sunday's game against the Pittsburgh Pirates. Charlie Blackmon will be leading off for the game and he'll be joined in the outfield by Randal Grichuk and Sam Hilliard. Joe will go into the All-Star break with a .264/.370/.385 slash line to go along with five home runs, six stolen bases, 23 RBI and 49 runs. After maintaining an 88.2 mph average exit velocity last year, Joe has managed just an 85.5 mph average exit velocity this year, ranking him in the bottom 5% of the league. Additionally, he has a barrel rate of just 4.5% this year, down from 9.9% last year.

  • Connor Joe Doubles Wednesday Night

Colorado Rockies first baseman/outfielder Connor Joe went 1-for-4 with his 16th double of the season, an RBI, one run scored, a walk and two strikeouts in Wednesday's 10-6 victory over the San Diego Padres. Joe is hitting just .191 (8-for-42) in the last two weeks, but he does have six RBI in 12 games played. The 29-year-old has been the Rockies' primary leadoff man for most of the year and should continue in that role, so he's a good source of runs in fantasy. Overall, he's slashing .265/.368/.390 with five home runs, 22 RBI, 45 runs scored and five stolen bases in 364 plate appearances over 81 games played.

  • Connor Joe Getting The Day Off

Colorado Rockies outfielder and designated hitter Connor Joe is not in the lineup on Sunday against the Washington Nationals. This appears to be a routine day off for the 29-year-old. Charlie Blackmon is occupying the DH spot and batting leadoff while Randal Grichuk is manning right field and hitting sixth against Nationals starter Josiah Gray. Joe has scuffled a bit at the dish over the last two weeks so the day off should do him some good. For the season, he's slashing .272/.354/.399 with four home runs, 13 RBI, and a pair of stolen bases.

  • Connor Joe Not In Wednesday's Lineup

Colorado Rockies outfielder and designated hitter Connor Joe isn't in Wednesday's lineup. The Rockies will take on the San Francisco Giants and right-handed starter Logan Webb but will do so with Joe on the bench. The 29-year-old is batting .273 with a .364 on-base percentage, four home runs, and two stolen bases in 151 plate appearances this season. Instead, Charlie Blackmon will be the team's designated hitter and hit leadoff, with Randal Grichuk moving over to right field and batting sixth.
