  • Aaron Judge Resting On Wednesday

New York Yankees outfielder Aaron Judge is not in the starting lineup on Wednesday against the Seattle Mariners. It looks to be a normal day off for the clear leader of the American League MVP race this season. Make sure to move Judge to your benches on Wednesday. With Judge getting a breather, Matt Carpenter will move into right field and hit third in the batting order against Mariners right-hander Luis Castillo. Carpenter will be a popular DFS play in the three-hole for the Yanks, as he's hitting .321/.433/.795 with a 1.227 OPS, 15 home runs, 36 RBI and 28 runs scored in 112 at-bats for the Yankees this year.

Judge had been in a slump recently but had three hits, including a grand slam, on Wednesday to break out of it. Aaron Hicks is in center field and batting sixth against Red Sox right-hander Josh Winckowski on Thursday. Hicks has been pretty disappointing this year, but he is 5-for-13 (.385) with a homer and six RBI in five games over the last week of play.

On the field, the 30-year-old slugger is the easy favorite for American League MVP, as he's currently hitting .301/.380/.647 with a 1.026 OPS, a league-leading 25 home runs, a league-leading 55 runs scored, 50 RBI and five stolen bases in 65 games for the Yanks.
