  • Hunter Renfroe Goes 4-for-4 With A Home Run

Milwaukee Brewers outfielder Hunter Renfroe enjoyed his return to Fenway Park, going 4-for-4 in Sunday's contest against the Boston Red Sox with a two-run home run. Renfroe also hit a two-run shot in the previous game. He now has an .828 OPS with 19 home runs, 35 runs scored, 43 RBI, and a steal in 273 plate appearances this season. While Renfroe's OBP remains a less-than-stellar .305, his 523 slugging percentage more than makes up the difference for fantasy managers.

  • Hunter Renfroe Hits 14th Homer Friday

Milwaukee Brewers outfielder Hunter Renfroe went deep Friday, hitting his 14th home run of the season off Colorado Rockies relief pitcher Robert Stephenson. Renfroe also singled in five at-bats, and he now has a five-game hitting streak going. His slash line this season is very close to his career numbers at .247/.299/.489, as he once again represents a low on-base, high slugging percentage fantasy option. Renfroe has 29 runs scored, 33 RBI, and one steal in 223 at-bats this year.

  • Hunter Renfroe Reinstated From Injured List On Tuesday

Renfroe missed a little over two weeks due to a strained left calf. The 30-year-old has performed decently well in his first season with the Brewers thus far. Over 54 games, he's slashed .247/.300/.490 with 13 home runs, 27 RBI and 27 runs. Keston Hiura has been getting some starts in the outfield lately, but he's likely to be relegated to a bench role with Renfroe's return.

  • Hunter Renfroe Expected Back This Week

Milwaukee Brewers outfielder Hunter Renfroe (calf) ran the arc of the infield dirt last Friday and reached 19 mph without suffering any setbacks. He's targeting a return to the Brewers lineup for this week's series against the Minnesota Twins, but he said team medical officials want to wait until the following series against the San Francisco Giants. But either way, he's tracking towards a return before the All-Star break. The 30-year-old power hitter has been on the injured list since June 26 with a strained left calf, but fantasy managers should expect to have him back later this week. Before his injury, Renfroe was slashing .247/.300/.490 with 13 home runs, 27 RBI and 27 runs scored in 198 at-bats for the Brew Crew.

  • Hunter Renfroe Back From The Injured List

The Milwaukee Brewers reinstated outfielder Hunter Renfroe (hamstring) from the 10-day injured list on Tuesday and placed right-hander Trevor Gott (groin) on the 15-day injured list with a right groin strain in a corresponding move. Renfroe has been out for the last two weeks with a right hamstring strain, but he should be back in the lineup on Tuesday against Philadelphia Phillies left-hander Ranger Suarez. The 30-year-old slugger was slashing .266/.303/.503 with an .807 OPS, nine home runs, 19 RBI and 22 runs scored in 155 plate appearances over 39 games, so fantasy managers will want to get him right back into their lineups for his power stroke.

  • Hunter Renfroe Won't Return Friday

Milwaukee Brewers outfielder Hunter Renfroe (hamstring) won't come off the injured list when he's first eligible on Friday, according to skipper Craig Counsell. Renfroe should return soon, though, and he felt fine after doing some running on Thursday. The 30-year-old has been out with a right hamstring strain, but it looks like there's a good chance that he could rejoin Milwaukee's lineup at some point this weekend against his former team, the San Diego Padres. Before the injury, Renfroe was hitting .266/.303/.503 with an .807 OPS, nine home runs, 19 RBI and 22 runs scored. He remains a solid source of power in a very strong Brewers lineup this year.

  • Hunter Renfroe Doing Some Running Saturday

Milwaukee Brewers outfielder Hunter Renfroe (hamstring) is testing his injured right hamstring on Saturday by doing some running. Renfroe left the game on Monday with right hamstring pain and was forced to the 10-day injured list with a strained hamstring. The 30-year-old is dealing with a low-grade strain and is expected to be out for 10 to 14 days. Tyrone Taylor has taken over in right field and should continue to do so for Milwaukee until Renfroe is good enough to return. The timing of Renfroe's injury was terrible, as he had gone 10-for-20 with four RBI and five runs scored in seven games before the hamstring strain. Overall, he's hitting .266/.303/.503 with nine home runs, 19 RBI and 22 runs scored in 39 games for the Brew Crew. Continue to keep his power bat stashed.

  • Hunter Renfroe Lands On The 10-Day Injured List

Milwaukee Brewers outfielder Hunter Renfroe (hamstring) was placed on the 10-day injured list Tuesday with a strained right hamstring. The 30-year-old is expected to miss the next 10-14 days. Renfroe's injury came at the wrong time as the outfielder started to heat up at the plate. He slashed .526/.542/.632 with four RBI over his last six games. Tyrone Taylor is expected to increase playing time while Renfroe is sidelined. Taylor is worth adding in most league formats while wielding a hot bat. The 28-year-old is hitting .438 (7-for-16) with two home runs, seven RBI, and three runs over his last four contests.

  • Hunter Renfroe Exits With Hamstring Discomfort

Milwaukee Brewers outfielder Hunter Renfroe (hamstring) was removed from Monday's game against the San Diego Padres due to right hamstring discomfort. Lorenzo Cain came on as a pinch-hitter for him in the fourth inning and remained in the game the rest of the way. Renfroe ran from first to home while scoring a run on Tyrone Taylor's double in the second inning. He likely aggravated his hamstring during that play. The 30-year-old veteran is set to get an MRI on Tuesday and should be considered day-to-day until we know more.
