  • Jurickson Profar Adds Homer And Steal

San Diego Padres utility man Jurickson Profar once again had a solid game on Sunday against the Minnesota Twins, going 2-for-4 at the plate with a home run, a stolen base, and two runs scored. Profar now has 11 homers and five steals on the season. He has four multi-hit performances in his last six games, with six RBI in that span. With a .757 OPS, 58 runs scored, and 44 RBI on the season, Profar has been a net positive across all fantasy categories this season, making him a valuable and underrated back-of-the-roster fantasy asset.

  • Jurickson Profar Homers, Reaches Three Times

San Diego Padres utility player Jurickson Profar reached base three times Monday, going 2-for-3 with a solo home run and a walk in a 12-4 loss to the Detroit Tigers. Profar now has nine home runs on the season to go with a .741 OPS, four steals, 53 runs, and 39 RBI in 335 at-bats this season. Despite not being spectacular in any one fantasy category, Profar offers all-category production and should continue to score plenty of runs from the leadoff spot in the order. His positional flexibility in most formats also contributes to a solid fantasy floor.

  • Jurickson Profar Returns Friday

San Diego Padres outfielder Jurickson Profar (concussion) will make his return to the lineup on Friday, playing left field and leading off against the Arizona Diamondbacks. Profar missed seven games after colliding with teammate C.J. Abrams on July 7th and sustaining a concussion. It is nice to see Profar back so quickly, as it was a pretty nasty play that resulted in the injury. The 29-year-old is having his best major league season so far, slashing .242/.343/.397 with eight homers and four steals, all while hitting at the top of a good Padres lineup. He should be picked up in any leagues where he was dropped after his IL stint.

  • Jurickson Profar Placed On The 7-Day Concussion IL

San Diego Padres infielder Jurickson Profar (concussion, neck) was placed on the 7-day concussion list on Friday. He was involved in a scary collision with his teammate C.J. Abrams while attempting to catch a pop-up in left field. The 29-year-old sustained a concussion and a neck strain in Thursday's win. Profar slashed .242/.343/.397 with eight home runs, 38 RBI, 50 runs, and four stolen bases over 83 games in 2022. Brent Rooker was recalled from Triple-A El Paso in a corresponding move. Rooker is a speculative add in deep-league formats after slashing .279/.401/.596 with 14 homers, 45 runs, 44 RBI, and four stolen bases over 49 games in El Paso this year.

He was involved in a scary collision with his teammate C.J. Abrams while attempting to catch a pop-up in left field. Abrams' knee crashed into Profar's head as Abrams made the catch on the play. • Jurickson Profar Removed During Thursday's Game

San Diego Padres infielder/outfielder Jurickson Profar was removed from the game on Thursday after a scary collision. Profar was accidentally hit directly in the jaw by teammate C.J. Abrams. He attempted to walk off the field under his own power. Sadly, Profar was unable to do that and needed a cart to get off the field. Nomar Mazara came into the game as a replacement. There should be an update on Profar shortly, but he'll likely miss at least a few days.

  • The Strange Case Of Jurickson Profar

To say that Jurickson Profar’s career has been inconsistent would be an understatement. After being signed by the Rangers as an international free agent out of Curacao, he was incredibly impressive in the minors, shooting up to the big leagues, making his MLB debut at the age of 19 towards the end of the 2012…
