  • Tommy Pham Hitting Leadoff Again Sunday

Boston Red Sox outfielder Tommy Pham is starting in left field and hitting leadoff on Sunday against Kansas City Royals right-hander Brad Keller. Pham was moved to the leadoff spot on Saturday and promptly went 0-for-4 with three strikeouts. It's part of manager Alex Cora's new plan to drop rookie outfielder Jarren Duran in the order -- Duran is batting ninth Sunday. Before hitting leadoff on Saturday, Pham hadn't hit in the top spot in the batting order in 95 previous games with the Reds and Red Sox this year. The 34-year-old has plenty of experience in the spot, though, and it should make him more attractive from a fantasy standpoint. In 360 at-bats this year, he's hitting .233/.314/.367 with 11 home runs, 39 RBI, 60 runs scored and seven stolen bases.

  • Red Sox Acquire Tommy Pham From Reds

The Boston Red Sox acquired outfielder Tommy Pham from the Cincinnati Reds on Monday. It's unknown what the Reds are receiving in return. The Red Sox also sent catcher Christian Vazquez to the Houston Astros on Monday, so the Red Sox appear to be trying to walk the buy/sell tightrope this year. It remains to be seen if they will trade designated hitter J.D. Martinez before Tuesday's deadline. The 34-year-old Pham will head to Beantown after hitting .238/.320/.374 with 11 home runs, 39 RBI, 57 runs scored and seven stolen bases in 387 plate appearances over 91 games for the Reds. Pham's fantasy value shouldn't be affected by the move all that much, but if anything, he'll receive a slight boost while moving to a better Red Sox lineup.

  • Tommy Pham Back In The Lineup On Wednesday

Cincinnati Reds outfielder Tommy Pham (back) is included in the starting lineup for Wednesday's game against left-hander Justin Steele and the Chicago Cubs. He'll be hitting out of his usual No. 3 spot and covering left field in the game. Pham was a late scratch from Tuesday's lineup as he was dealing with lower-back stiffness. The 34-year-old veteran is currently in the midst of his best offensive month of the year. Across 22 June games, he's slashed .265/.347/.482 with five home runs, two stolen bases, 13 RBI and 17 runs.

  • Tommy Pham Scratched With Back Tightness

Cincinnati Reds outfielder Tommy Pham (back) was scratched from Tuesday's starting lineup against the Chicago Cubs with lower-back stiffness. Fantasy managers should consider Pham day-to-day until we know more about his back injury. In his place, Max Schrock will start in left field and hit sixth against Cubs right-hander Keegan Thompson. Schrock has just 11 at-bats for Cincy this season and is still searching for his first home run while going 3-for-11 (.273) with an RBI, no walks and two strikeouts. Pham is slashing .245/.339/.412 on the year with 10 home runs, 30 RBI, 43 runs scored and five stolen bases in 271 plate appearances over 64 games played.

  • Tommy Pham Homers In Loss

Cincinnati Reds outfielder Tommy Pham went deep off of Eric Lauer in Friday's 5-4 loss against the Milwaukee Brewers. He finished the game 1-for-4 with a run and an RBI. Pham is having a solid fantasy season at the dish, slashing .250/.345/.426 with nine home runs, five stolen bases, 38 runs, and 26 RBI across 56 games. His last 15 games have been especially impressive, in which he's hit .310 with a .954 OPS. Fantasy managers can start Pham in most formats and expect him to keep providing some power and speed.

  • Tommy Pham Returns Against Nationals

Cincinnati Reds outfielder Tommy Pham (calf) is back in the starting lineup in left field and is batting third on Thursday against Washington Nationals right-hander Joan Adon. Pham has missed a week of action after a three-game suspension while also being scratched from the lineup due to left calf pain the last two days. The 34-year-old had five hits in his previous 14 at-bats over four games before his suspension with a homer and five RBI, so his fantasy managers are hoping his week absence won't throw his timing off too much. Overall, Pham is slashing .233/.335/.373 with five home runs, 17 RBI, 26 runs scored and three stolen bases in 176 plate appearances in his first season in Cincinnati.

  • Tommy Pham Scratched For Second Straight Day

Cincinnati Reds outfielder Tommy Pham (calf) has been scratched from the starting lineup for Wednesday's game against the Boston Red Sox. The veteran is dealing with left calf discomfort. He was originally in the starting lineup for Tuesday's game, but he was a late scratch for the contest and the same process repeated on Wednesday. Aristides Aquino is entering the starting lineup to take Pham's spot for Wednesday's game. Pham should be considered day-to-day for now. The 34-year-old is slashing .233/.335/.373 with five home runs, three stolen bases, 17 RBI and 26 runs over 42 games this year.

  • Tommy Pham Scratched Tuesday

Cincinnati Reds outfielder Tommy Pham (calf), who was set to return from a three-game suspension on Tuesday, was scratched from the starting lineup due to left calf discomfort. Nick Senzel, who was originally scheduled for a day off, will now start in center field and bat third against Boston Red Sox right-hander Michael Wacha. Pham has been in the news of late after a pre-game altercation with San Francisco Giants outfielder Joc Pederson last week. The 34-year-old has some modest power and speed but is hitting just .233 (35-for-150) this year with five homers and 17 RBI for the Reds. Senzel is hitting just over the Mendoza Line with a homer and five RBI in 24 games, but he's batting .273 (6-for-27) in the last seven days.

  • Tommy Pham Returns, Nick Senzel Out Against Boston

Cincinnati Reds outfielder Tommy Pham is back in left field and is hitting third on Tuesday against Boston Red Sox right-hander Michael Wacha after his team-imposed three-game suspension. Meanwhile, outfielder Nick Senzel is taking the day off. Pham missed the series against the San Francisco Giants after slapping Giants outfielder Joc Pederson during a pre-game argument. Pham has been better in May after an ice-cold start, and he's now batting .233/.335/.373 with five home runs, 17 RBI, 26 runs scored and three stolen bases in 150 at-bats for Cincy. With Senzel out, Albert Almora Jr. is in center field and is batting eighth against Wacha. Almora represents a low-upside DFS play.

  • Tommy Pham Gets Three-Game Suspension

Cincinnati Reds outfielder Tommy Pham has been issued a three-game suspension that started Friday evening. He will miss the weekend series against the San Francisco Giants, but is expected to return after that. Pham has been suspended for slapping outfielder Joc Pederson over a fantasy football dispute. The fact Pham has been suspended makes sense why he has missed the last two contests. Fantasy managers should expect to have Pham back after the weekend series.

  • Tommy Pham Remains Out On Saturday

Cincinnati Reds outfielder Tommy Pham (personal) remains out of the starting lineup for Saturday's game against the San Francisco Giants. He'll miss his second straight game after an odd altercation with outfielder Joc Pederson on Friday. Pham decided to slap Pederson over a fantasy football dispute. It's unclear what type of disciplinary action will result from this incident. Fantasy managers should expect Pham to miss at least a few more games while this situation is figured out.

  • Tommy Pham Late Scratch After Pregame Incident

Cincinnati Reds outfielder Tommy Pham was a late scratch ahead of his team's Friday night game against the San Francisco Giants. Pham was involved in a pregame altercation with Giants outfielder Joc Pederson and apparently slapped the latter during Cincinnati's batting practice ahead of the game. The incident reportedly stemmed from a disagreement in the fantasy football league that the two of them are both in. MLB is investigating the incident and Pham agreed not to play on Friday night as a result. There is a real possibility that Pham will face disciplinary action from the league and could be looking at a suspension.

  • Tommy Pham Plates Three Runs In Thursday's Blowout

Cincinnati Reds outfielder Tommy Pham drove in three of the 20 runs that the club scored in Thursday's 20-5 win over the Chicago Cubs. He was 2-for-4 with a double and also scored a pair of runs. Over 42 games this season, the 34-year-old is slashing .233/.335/.373 with five home runs, 17 RBI, 26 runs, and three stolen bases. However, Pham's .282 xBA and .505 xSLG paint a much better picture of how his season is going, so fantasy managers should hold onto him.
