Clayton Kershaw Pitches Well Tuesday

Los Angeles Dodgers starting pitcher Clayton Kershaw turned in a solid start in Tuesday's Cactus League 4-2 win over the Guardians. The 34-year-old southpaw dropped out of the World Baseball Classic for Team USA due to insurance issues, but that should only be a good thing for his 2023 fantasy outlook. Kershaw is no longer a fantasy ace as he nears the end of his career, and he should be expected to miss some time due to injury. However, the future Hall of Famer can still be useful in fantasy when he's healthy. Target him as more of a SP3 in drafts this spring.

The exact reason for Kershaw's uncertain status is not known.
