Tyler Glasnow To Make Season Debut Saturday

  • Headshot for Tyler Glasnow

The Tampa Bay Rays are listing starting pitcher Tyler Glasnow (oblique) as their probable starter for Saturday's game against the Los Angeles Dodgers. Glasnow has been out all year with a left-oblique injury, so Saturday will mark his 2023 season debut. The 29-year-old hard-throwing right-hander allowed only one run while striking out 20 and walking five over 13 1/3 innings during four minor-league rehab starts for Triple-A Durham. The Dodgers will make for a tough first opponent, though, so Glasnow probably won't be the best DFS bet on Saturday's slate. Still, when he's healthy, he's already proved he can be one of the most dominant starting pitchers in baseball.
