  • Aaron Judge Back In Lineup Tuesday

Judge missed Sunday's game due to back spasms, which reportedly popped up during the first game against the Philadelphia Phillies. The 29-year-old slugger will start in right field and bat second against Blue Jays' lefty Hyun-Jin Ryu. Judge is batting .289 with 15 homers, 35 RBI, and a .920 OPS this season.

  • Aaron Judge Not In The Lineup On Sunday

New York Yankees outfielder Aaron Judge (back) isn't in the lineup on Sunday against Philly. The slugger has been dealing with spasms since Saturday night, although it's unknown if the ailment will require a trip to the 10-day injured list. More on his status moving forward should be revealed ahead of the Bomber's upcoming series against Toronto on Tuesday, but for now, fantasy managers should consider him day-to-day. Giancarlo Stanton, who wasn't expected to get any defensive work against the Phillies, will likely take Judge's spot in the outfield.

  • Aaron Judge Goes Yard Wednesday

New York Yankees outfielder Aaron Judge went 2-for-4 with a home run and a pair of runs scored in Wednesday's win over the Minnesota Twins. Judge started the scoring in the first inning, taking Randy Dobnak deep on an 0-2 slider, with the blast traveling 392 feet at an exit velocity of 106.5 MPH. He later ripped a 106.6 MPH double and came around to score in the third inning. Judge had just one extra-base hit in June coming into the contest but proceeded to tally a pair of them Wednesday night and will have a great chance to continue doing damage on Thursday against Twins' lefty- and former teammate- J.A. Happ. Judge is slashing .359/.447/.625 with five homers and 11 RBI in 76 plate appearances against southpaws this season.

  • Aaron Judge Drives In A Pair

New York Yankees outfielder Aaron Judge didn't record a hit but drove in a pair of runs in Wednesday's 8-4 win over the Minnesota Twins. Judge put three batted balls into the field, each of them registering exit velocities of 100 MPH or greater, as he walked in a run and collected a fielder's choice. The slugger has been the best hitter on the Yankees this season, though his bat has slowed a bit in June, as he has just one extra-base hit in 24 at-bats. Still, Judge is always one swing away from depositing a ball into the outfield seats, especially given his new, contact-heavy approach at the plate. The power numbers will be back just as soon as they dissipated.

  • Aaron Judge Reaches Base Four Times

New York Yankees outfielder Aaron Judge reached base safely four times in Sunday's loss to the Boston Red Sox. Judge singled in the first inning and came around to score, collected another base hit, and later grounded into a fielder's choice, producing an RBI in the process. The 29-year-old also drew a pair of walks. Judge is slashing .295/.398/.540 wth 14 homers, 32 RBI, and 32 runs scored. One of the bigger changes he has made is swing at first-pitch strikes more often, in addition to posting the lowest whiff rate and strikeout rates of his career. The changes have turned Judge into a borderline .300 hitter, which seems very sustainable for the rest of the season.
