Jackson Jobe Shut Down For At Least Three Months
Detroit Tigers starting pitcher Jackson Jobe (back) is expected to miss significant time due to injury. The right-hander will be shut down from throwing for 3-6 months. He's dealing with lumbar spine inflammation after reporting to have back discomfort earlier in the spring. There is a good chance the 20-year-old will miss a majority of the minor league season. He played his first minor league season in 2022 after being drafted as the third overall pick in 2021. Jobe has a bright future ahead of him, but sadly it's going to be slightly derailed for the time being.
