It's just a routine day off for Bregman, who is off to a strong start to the year, slashing .313/.374/.500 with five home runs, 19 RBI and 20 runs over 29 games. He'll be back in his No. 3 spot in the lineup on Wednesday for the series finale against the Angels.

  • Alex Bregman's Arrow Pointing Up

Houston Astros third baseman Alex Bregman is slashing .344/.382/.531 in the month of May heading into the team's series-opener against the Angels. Bregman has hits in eight of his last 10 games and it is only a matter of time before his hits start leaving the ballpark with more regularity. Bregman is also getting it done when it matters most, posting a 1.369 OPS with runners in scoring position. When he is on his game, Bregman is a top-notch choice for DFS lineups. He will be a fantastic choice for DFS tournaments heading into this week.

  • Alex Bregman Struggling At Home

Houston Astros third baseman Alex Bregman will line up against the Blue Jays at Minute Maid Park on Friday. Over his last 15 games, Bregman is slashing .316/.371/.491 with 10 runs batted in and 12 runs scored. But the talented infielder has strangely struggled at home this season, slashing .227/.292/.318. He has only two extra-base hits through 12 games at Minute Maid Park, making Bregman more volatile in DFS lineups for the weekend. Standard fantasy formats, however, still must start the 27-year-old in all of their lineups.

  • Alex Bregman Delivering In Road Games

Houston Astros third baseman Alex Bregman went 2-for-4 with a home run Tuesday against the Yankees. The round-tripper was Bregmans' second in his last four games and is quietly beginning to heat up at the plate. The 27-year-old has been especially dangerous hitting away from Minute Maid Park, slashing an impressive .364/.417/.659 with 10 runs batted in through 11 road games. Wednesday may be an excellent time to drop Bregman into DFS lineups with the Yankees left-handed pitcher Jordan Montgomery on the mound. Bregman has tortured left-hander's thus far this season, going 14-for-41 (.348) against them with a .585 slugging percentage.
