  • X-Rays Negative On Lance Lynn's Hand

Chicago White Sox starting pitcher Lance Lynn (hand) was hit in the hand by a comebacker during the fourth inning of Thursday's game against the Minnesota Twins. According to White Sox manager Tony LaRussa, you were able to see baseball seams imprinted on Lynn's hand after the incident. Lynn underwent X-rays on his hand and forearm after the game and they came back negative. Lynn was fantastic in the start, earning his fourth win of the year while pitching five innings and allowing just two hits, three walks and one unearned run. He struck out nine. It sounds as if he shouldn't be in jeopardy of missing his next start on Tuesday, which will again be against the Twins.

  • Lance Lynn Set To Return On Saturday

Chicago White Sox starting pitcher Lance Lynn (trapezius) is geared up to be activated from the 10-day injured list on Saturday and start versus the Cleveland Indians. Lynn has been sidelined since his last start on April 15 with a strained right trapezius. The offseason acquisition has been great for the White Sox in the three starts he has made this season. The veteran has pitched to a 1-1 record with a 0.92 ERA and 27 strikeouts over 19 2/3 innings. Managers should have no issue slotting Lynn into Saturday's lineup versus an Indians lineup that the veteran spun six innings against in his last start and allowed just two hits, two runs, zero walks and struck out 10.
