The People

Lou Brunson

Lou’s first draft pick was Brian Westbrook ahead of Shaun Alexander coming off Alexander leading the league in TDs. Lou and family have been coddiwompling all around the US in an RV since 2019. When they’re not obsessing over football, he’s probably wistfully grateful that turn-based RPGs are hopefully making a comeback.

Dave Shovein

Dave is a successful high-stakes fantasy baseball player, aspiring guru, die-hard Detroit Tigers’ fan, devoted husband and proud father of three boys. He has been writing about this passion for more than a decade at Rotoworld and various other entities.

Mike MacGregor

Mike started working in the fantasy sports industry, before it was called it an “industry”, in 2000. He created a fantasy football draft tool, Draft Buddy, to help manage his own leagues. This led to partnering with FF Today to introduce this tool to the fantasy football community.

Once a CPA, Mike became interested in web development. Mike created many popular online tools for FF Today, DynastyLeagueFootball (DLF), MLBTradeRumors, and Draft Buddy among others. He currently works full-time for Betsperts as a web developer, primarily for 4for4.com and DLF. Mike also created and operates an office pools website, MyOfficePool.ca.

The Website

Draft Buddy the website is a home for the draft tool and all of the supporting fantasy baseball and fantasy football content that contributes to the creation and updating of the draft tool each season. Plus whatever other fantasy content and tools that helps us play in our own leagues – draft and in-season rankings, player stats tools, articles, and more.

We have a database of over 15,000 NFL players, and over 10,000 MLB players, with supporting game and player stats dating back to 2000 for NFL and 2006 for MLB. There is also a ton of historic rankings and projections, average draft position data, and news for each sport.

The Draft Tool

Draft Buddy is a tool to help you draft a great fantasy football or fantasy baseball team. We are extremely proud for helping fantasy owners win their leagues since 2001!

Draft Buddy creates custom cheat sheets for your fantasy league and tracks your draft. Draft Buddy includes detailed player projections, prior year stats, numerous scoring options, rules and option settings to customize your cheat sheets. It also provides various draft tracking tools and reports to keep you organized and help you make the best draft-day decisions.

Draft Buddy supports redraft, keeper, and dynasty leagues, and draft pick and auction style drafts. It works for team defense and individual defensive player leagues for fantasy football. Draft Buddy values players for roto (category) and fantasy points scoring leagues for fantasy baseball.

The fantasy football version is available in June and updated regularly to the start of Week 1 for the upcoming National Football League season.
