I get the 1004 Error everytime I hit the "Setup Draft Buddy" button. I have made sure the cheatsheet location is correct. The Roto summary doesn't show all my categories which I assume is because the CC isn't connecting with DB.

Hi ajinscoe. You're right, Draft Buddy is not connecting with the Compiler. Once it does that, then Buddy will prep all of its tabs for your league.

Are you sure the filename is correct? If you didn't change the Compiler filename then it should be fine.

Next thing to try is keep both the Compiler and Draft Buddy open in Excel at the same time. Then hit Setup Draft Buddy and see if that does it.

I still get the same error even with both files open in excel. Would it have anything to to with Vista, it seems to work on my XP desktop, but I'll need my laptop at my draft this weekend.

Should work in Vista. That is what I have. Did you inadvertently change the names of the files? So, for example, you saved it (Compiler) as a macro-enabled workbook in Excel 2007, then it would have .xlsm on the end all of a sudden instead of .xls.

Send me your copy of the Compiler and I will put it in Draft Buddy for you, and send it back. Cool? mike@draftbuddy.com

Hi Cliff. What is it you are trying to do when you get the error?

FYI, the issue that started this thread was due to the Compiler filename being changed but not updated on the setup tab in Buddy. I don't think from the error message that is what is happening in your case.
